@TheNEWBobDylan Can not find Crazy Boy by Nick Harper on YouTube but gave this another listen. Again I love his fathers music - I have travelled the UK watching him and once promoted his dad live in Leeds. I really wanted to like this but it is just awful - he plays two cords, his singing is out of tune, he can not keep the tempo the same and even though he looks for the cord at 0.49 her still misfingers. He is all over the place -sorry but I am just saying what I see and hear.

@WillShakespeare2007 ...actually he is an amazing guitarist. Plays 5 steps down from normal tuning and changes tunings during songs with special stopped banjo tuning pegs...check out 'smithereens' or 'kilty stone' trust me. If you saw him live you would be a die hard fan, I promise you.

Nick does a great cover version of Grace as part of a medley. That really does sound like grace. Youtube user hokieokie1 has put a version on youtube. Shame about the singing in the background on that recording though.

Been a cheerleader for Roy then Nick for 24 years. Started at the Burnt Post in Coventry (Jugula Tour) 85 and last sighted at The Trades Club Hebden Bridge(1 Of The 38) 09. I can only thank both wonderful people for so many great nights, memories and friends made along the way. Both incredible talents and human beings and I'd like to thank them both for taking us places we would'nt otherwise have been...especially Basingstoke....Cheers Lads! Can I 'av me pom poms now?! Free speech!...one each!

This is a haunting song that shows off nick's range and passion. Don't dwell on the lyrics though as very dark. Child abuse is a difficult topic to do justice. The despair and hope are so well set against each other here.

It's unfair, to either man, to compare Nick with Roy and say that one's better than the other. I think Nick would be the first to disagree with anyone who suggested he was a better songwriter than his old man! Nick has come out from under the shadow of his father and shown us a tremendous talent that he has too. But he never forgets his debt to Roy! I've seen them play often together, the first time in 1991, last at the 2006 Rhythm Festival. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from both!
