Or you could get the CCTV mod. Make a box (as big as you want) of obsidian, put some natural blocks like grass and etc, lure your favorite mob inside, (you can use spawn eggs if on creative) destroy a block in the center and put a camera block, (do this on the outside so it faces the inside, place a monitor, and turn it on. Simple.
