@brent7109 I sync you're onto something mate! You do however seem slightly to moderately frustrated. Have you been trying to learn from this video? If so, I'd suggest some basics first. This video is for decent players to learn from. Good luck with it mate! :)

Just see it as me repeating some simple, standard blues licks, but hopefully in some type of usable context. That's all a guitar solo is... :-)

nickeax your an amazing blues artist and i was wondering if i could get some help...you see im fairley good at improv blues soloing but most of the time it feels like im playing the same licks over and over again...i usually just stay in the scale of the root note and dont know how or when to switch to a different scale (different key) if you have any tips for helping me get out of this soling rut it would be appriciated thanks so much

Have you seen my new blues tutorial? I show about how to move all over the neck.

Also, transcribe a complete blues solo. I recommend copying the solo from any version of 'Red House'. I think Jimi was a mean blues player. ;)
