The first two airplane landing clips weren't lucky. The first clip was a text book landing at the now closed Kai Tak airport. The second one where he is coming in over the beach is also a very standard landing at that airport.

theres nothing wrong with the first one... thats something pilots do when there is a cross wind (wind blowing across the run way) they will point the nose of the plane into the wind untill the very last second than straighten it out. if they dont the wind will blow the plane completely away from the runway... just saying
