I had this op for c6-c7 herniated disc 2007 . i suffered for years with terrible nerve pain radiating down my arm,at times pain was so bad i could not move my arm at all. The surgery was not nearly as bad as what i thought. I was sittiing up in bed the day after op and released 2 days later. My arm pain was gone immediately after op and i returned to work 4 months later. Scar no longer visible Just found out that i`ve to have the another op for herniated c4-c5 discs & bone spurs.
