I don't care if you do delete me, but you are tearing your hair out with that small tooth comb. Your hair will not grow out healthy doing this method. Maybe if you do this one time, it will not hurt. But that small tooth comb pulls out your hair.

@mspinkytee Not everyone's hair is the same and this video is over 2 years old. If you look at her current videos, you'd see that her hair has actually blossomed quite well. Also, her hair is damp, not dry, so a small comb like that, is not an issue.

My extensions were not glued, but were braided in with my hair from the top down. I know where to cut the braids regardless, but from there the braids tend to get tangled. Is this method good for my style, or would you suggest another?

Good video, but just wanted to ask if you have heard of or tried this process using the Take Down Remover Cream 1st.,-and water makes matted hair at the roots worse-especially for those women who want to leave their braids in for 5months tooooo long.LOL The Remover softens the extensions and your natural hair at the same time.

Thanks for the tip....Im gonna use your method...my hair usually takes me WAY too long....it takes me like 12 to 14 hours. No conditioner and its a whole ordeal so I think this way it will be faster. I will let you know how it works for me in a couple days when I take mine out. Thanks again.

@skyj You'll have to cut just above the knot. But, you'll have to make certain that your hair isn't there. if it is. you'll have to undo all the knots first. :(

@pinkrose75 I leave it in for 15-20 minutes. I can tell if its ready by trying to comb them braids out. If they don't start coming out easily, add a little more water and wait a bit longer.

It usually takes me about 1.5 - 2 hours to remove my braids... That's with me starting and stopping though. I have never paid to get my braids removed so I can't give you a answer for that.

Is your hair glued above wear your hair ends? If so, you are going to have to try to pick the glued portion apart and not do too much damage to your hair. This may take a while because you have to perserve as much of the hair as possible.
