@ru55ianB and by that statement i assume that you're not really a gamer... i have PS3 and Xbox too and i only use them when there are games that i really like but not available in PC format. i always prefer playing on my PC for maximum experience but that doesn't mean i'm a PC fan, i don't identify my self with all the fanboys out there. why should i categorize and limit myself with just one gaming machine when i can afford and enjoy all of them.

@DecodeAGamer i don't like playing games in a PC that can barely run games, i want a smooth and lag free experience when playing games in maximum settings that's why i spent that huge amount of money for a PC... and besides i like multitasking, i run different programs and applications at the same time and an average PC often crashes when running many heavy programs.

@LoveOlderWomen I don't know where you got that from, but I play music normally in the background, batch process photos here an there, an I play pretty much every type of game @ 1920 x 1080.

I do that with a AMD 965 X4 CPU, 8GB's of DDR2 RAM, 6950 2GB GPU... my setup hasn't even touched "$5000" yet, an I can pretty much max out any game, except AA which isn't needed as much, X4 at 1920 x 1080 is fine.

I haven't had one single crash, unless of course it's a poor console port.

@LoveOlderWomen To tell you the truth, I don't bother with "bot" programs, because I prefer to enjoy my game rather than farm the hell out of it an ruin it for others.

An your last PC? Good for you, my PC runs every thing fine, so I don't need to upgrade to a stupid over-spec'd PC that will give me one extra frame in minesweeper.

GTA4 is a console port, nothing you do will give you better frame rates, if it was coded purely for PC it would be a different story.

I get about 70 FPS in GTAIV
