i LOVE that fact OWO its so epic also i LOVE the style of this game its nice to see starwars moveing in a style other then the 2 clone wars cartoons styles (witch are pretty much the same)
if u want to destroy everything in ur path, use anaking for this force choke ability, if u want to heal and not die while using the slow time ability use obi wan...
Obi wan is the easiest cuz he has that healing ability so u cant die with him if u fully upgraded that ability.. b ut both characters are better, in their own way...
Hey Ben! I love your reviews man, keep up the good work! By the way, I'm thinking of getting this game on the DS, mainly because of the added flying levels, but I was wondering: is the gameplay exactly the same? I just ask because there are a few GBA games that get broken mechanics when translated to the DS (due to the developers over-exploiting the DS exclusive features).
He told in the review that you play it with the pen, so it has to be very different concerning its controls... I'd be very sceptical, because I don't know how to play such a game with the pen...
I remember buying this game, and I don't regret it one bit. It was a fun throwback to the old days of beat-em'-ups for me.
Although Anakin is broken. My cousin told me you can just hold the force choke on bosses with him, which makes short work of them. For what the game was worth, it was fun.
I remember playing the ds version of the game and enjoying it but I thought the extra levels for the ds FAR surpassed the standard levels. although I could never beat the darth vader tie-fighter...
lol, I don't mean to sound like a prick but you should lose it. You looked much better, and healthy when you had that one picture of you with your glasses on
May I recommend a healthy Vegan diet? It's very healthy, and your body recovers real quickly.
instead of milk drink SILK SOYMILK, and instead of meat eat zietan, or a good quality meat substitute.
One side note I must add
your body will go through a period of shock, you may feel naseau, and headaches, cause your body is flushing
You make me think differently about most games that I'd normally cast aside without much thought. I'm not a Star Wars fan at all, but I'm able to look beyond the license if it's actually fun to play. I think that you've convinced me regarding this game. :)
Hi Ben, I've seen this game and often wonder if it was good or not while shopping for video games. You review was great and shown that the game has potential. I especially like that your not a big SW's fan so the franchise didn't have any influence on your overall review of the game. It's not surprising that you found this and TMNT's the same as they proably share the same game engine. Lot of video game manfacturers take a proven engine and use it on different games in developement.
Yeah I know but I try to stay away from words like "engine", for people who don't know as much about games (and how they are made) but still enjoy the show. :)
Hi, I actualy already have this game. I really liked it. SW:E3 and TMNT are two of the best beat-em-ups on the GBA. Personally I found Obi-wan to be easer to play as he can heal himself. witch is as big thing for me as there didn't seem to ever be enough life power-ups to go around.
I don't know what others think but I get so bored whenever I see star wars intro dialog. It was cool to watch in the movies but when every fan made starwars video does that, it's boring and I feel like skipping it or turning the video off. (this is not an attack on you ben because yours was short and sweet)
As for the game, it's interesting that this was originally on the gba as I've only played the DS version. Can't say I enjoyed the starfox parts though. Never finished the game either.
I ran into a snag on Amazing Mirror. I wanted to capture the multi player (since that's the main aspect of the game) but I haven't been able to get everyone together long enough to get enough footage. It's still comming, but I didn't want to put the whole show on hold until I could do it.
This game was actually somewhat decent.

can you review the 3 original game boy versions?
thenintendogamer 3 years ago
IMO, this game's far superior to TMNT
It has more levels, more bosses, 2 different endings, and more variety in the levels.
Plus, 2 player support
Can't go wrong with that

They're always good like this, imo. Maybe not as entertaining as others on youtube, but I think they are more factual.
