@meljohnson200 Actually in the subbed ver. on the DVD set the first few eps. where Crona apears it's spelled C-h-r-o-n-a, but later on is changed to C-r-o-n-a. So both is correct. So wether you spell it Crona or Chrona its that persons choice.

not to mention in the origonal japanese version, the show out right states that chrona is actually a girl. during her flashback of when she was forced to face the "little one" when her mother locked her in that one room, medusa said "You've been a bad girl. stay in here a while." and then medusa shuts the door on crona, locking her in that one dark room. so Crona is actually a girl.

however, when they were working on the English DUB, for some reason or another, during the translation, the japanese word for "girl" was somehow mistaken for "boy", and her gender wound up changeing suddenly. but because the english dub isn't the origonal, her gender shouldn't change due to an error in the translation process.in other words, somehow "Shōjo" was mistaken for "shōnen" . but it doesn't mean that she has to change her gender.

And when Chrona says "I don't know how to act around girls," it could be just because Medusa raised her to be violent, but most people treat girls more nicely. Not in a violent or mean way. But in the manga, there are several scenes which prove that IT is a girl. (Yes, I said IT. Got a problem? :P) And so, I believe Chrona is female in the manga.

However! In the anime, everyone says "she" when talking about Chrona.
