So please, somebody explain to me what does this keyboard does that a $700 laptop with $200 worth of software can't do? I'd wager the laptop can do everything this can much better, and can do somethings that a piece of static hardware could never do. the age of hardware is gone people, it's all software now, for crying out loud, this is really nothing bt a coputer running software! :)

1: computers can't create music. Input from something or someone is needed to first turn the computer on.

2: A computer could never play with feeling or emotion or by subtly changing the tempo or the pressure of the keys. Everything has to be programmed.

3. We have yet to see or witness a computer that can think independently and create its own voices or music.

It's fine to use computer software to create music, but it will never be the same as actually playing an instrument.

What I was saying is that instead of spending thousands of dollars on a piece of static hardware, which in the end is nothing but a computer running some software, spend a lot less on an actual computer that can do this ans so much more, I have some piano patches on my computer that this keyboard doesn't even have enough memory to run

@OromoRulez you can use your foot ...but i use my dick to change the sound..that way i keep my hands on the keybaord and my foot on the pedal.....that dick comes in handy when my girlfriend is out playing in the forest

I'm trying to choose between the Korg M3 and the Fantom G8, I am more impressed with the sounds that G8 has, but I've also seen a lot of great features and stuff in the M3. The forums I've gone to are extremely useless :/

@freetrader0000 The Roland Fantom-G8 is very good but very Expensive. I heard great reveiws about The Korg M3 But never played or seen it. My freind had one before it died on him. The Fantom has a lot of great sounds and sounds like the instrument is right in front of you. But The Roland Fantom G8 is 3,000$ (That's the lowest price i've seen it) and the Korg isn't that far behind. it's maybe $1,000-2,000 ish. But the G8 is worth the extra 1,000-2,000 Dollers.

It sounds good here, dude. Nothing wrong with Youtube audio quality (although somewahat compressed).

Its mostly due to recording quality.And dont listen with "Professional Studio Monitors" from Walmart.
