Instead of telling us that she is an idiot.. (clearly she is) do tell how to do it then.. I just bought an OLD flute, and its all yellowy and stuff around the keys.. water wont take that off..
well, professional flute makers don't recommend using any silver polishing cloth or any cleaning agents. Even if the polishing cloth don't touch the pads, the polishing agents (the powder) would stick onto the pads!!! It would also gum up your mechanism over time!!!
@mackylala i recently bought a really nice pearl and even though i wash my hands before each use, it still gets fingerprints on it. the worst part is, i cant get them off with the cloth they gave me. do i get it detailed then start polishing from every use then?
this girl dosen't know what she is talking about but you can use a little water on a towel and wipe the flute and it will take off all of the fingerprints on your flute
That's not polishing. It's cleaning

It's funny how expertvillage doesn't know anything about what they are doing. It amazes me that she isn't sandpapering the whole thing.

She does not have a clue. No brains. Has not even taken one apart as best I can tell. Pretend. I love it.
