  • That's not polishing. It's cleaning

  • It's funny how expertvillage doesn't know anything about what they are doing. It amazes me that she isn't sandpapering the whole thing.

  • Instead of telling us that she is an idiot.. (clearly she is) do tell how to do it then.. I just bought an OLD flute, and its all yellowy and stuff around the keys.. water wont take that off..

  • She does not have a clue. No brains. Has not even taken one apart as best I can tell. Pretend. I love it.

  • This woman is by no means an expert. More like the village idiot!

  • Hey! Do not ever use cleaning agents on your flute will causes damage!

  • well, professional flute makers don't recommend using any silver polishing cloth or any cleaning agents. Even if the polishing cloth don't touch the pads, the polishing agents (the powder) would stick onto the pads!!! It would also gum up your mechanism over time!!!

  • @mackylala i recently bought a really nice pearl and even though i wash my hands before each use, it still gets fingerprints on it. the worst part is, i cant get them off with the cloth they gave me. do i get it detailed then start polishing from every use then?

  • this girl dosen't know what she is talking about but you can use a little water on a towel and wipe the flute and it will take off all of the fingerprints on your flute

  • it will damage your flute if you use cleaning products for cleaning windows or somthing like that

  • you should never use cleaning products such as windex to polish ver bad for your flute
