Thank you someone who looks at the game correctly. I don't know why everyone had to bash on this one cause American developers. The series was inspired by Jacob's Ladder and David Lynch. Homecoming was great and deserved more credit.

Homecoming, Shattered Memories and Origins is not only well developed but they have better writing as well. And Shattered Memories has more art than any of the games combined. The series was inspired by American horror, mostly the movie Jacob's Ladder. Give me a really good reason as to why this game sucks beyond it having American developers, and tell me how this doesn't retain the same artistic, psychological, Lovecraftian quality of the other games.

From what I read is to try and to kill one quick while you kill the other but if more comes your fucked. So the best thing to do is shoot them to faze them and find an exit.

lol, well i finished it like 5 days ago and I found the answer - just run. run to that hole in the wall, crawl under it. then go behind the desk and just shoot one of em to dead and kill the other with a knife. but then save 3 bullets for the "boss" at the end.

Can someone give me advice?! I'm stuck from the point when Wheeler and Alex get separated (and Alex has to break down the "nailed shut by boards" door) up until the end of the video. Here's why: I begin this level with my health bar at about 50%. I have ZERO health drinks or health packs. I am equipped with the obvious (combat knife, lead pipe, and fire axe), but only have 4 bullets in my shotgun and 4 in my pistol! It's ridiculous! Help?!?!?!?!

You have to kill them darn stupid schsims that's in the hallway (after you hack the boards) and jump through the broken window on the right and there is a health drink on the cabinet. I don't know how you lost all those bullets that quick but use your knife or axe to kill the enemies. Everytime you hit the schism run somewhere else and hit them again make sure to DODGE.

Yeah, I got through it. I use them so quickly because they never die! I play in hard mode. I found out from a friend that the secret to get through them is to not face them at all. Do a couple rolls around them and RUN! lol.

No, it's not impossible. However, I DO recommend playing through the game first. That's because playing a second time makes health kits and stuff more noticable for some reason. And trust me, you'll need them in hard mode. The major differences from normal to hard mode are: health goes down much quicker, and monsters take longer to kill. That's about it.

the way I beat the first 5 schisms was by leading them back around the desk in that office you find the map in. I ran around the other side of the desk between the wall and stayed kind of close to the right side of it. The schisms weren't able to strike at me but I was able to hit them with the axe, even though it went through the edge of the desk. That's how I dealt with those ones anyway.

I liked the game, but I feel there was too much movie influence and not enough of the original silent hill influence. Perhaps this is the first step in bridging the two. AND in that aspect I like it (and I enjoyed this more than 4) but i need the plot of silent hill to move forward. something with Dalia (not from the movie), Kaufman, and ESPECIALLY Heather. Something about the original games and storyline.

Have you played all the other ones? I'm having a hard time liking this one since it seems so movie based. I really liked the movie but, it was more of a compliment to the other games and not a rough draft for a new one. I also just played Origins this winter and I liked that one quite a bit so maybe that's why I'm so disappointed with this one. I just thought the graphics were sort of poor for a system that could do so much and not likeing the controls and fighting set up.

yeah, played em all except origins. the graphics in Homecoming weren't enough, the lip sync was bad, not enough action... not enough creepy things... I feel like this game is more of a tribute to everything silent hill (except 4) and not a part of silent hill itself.

I like this game for two reasons. 1 - the potential it has for bridging the many media that silent hill has been painted across. 2 - the moments with alex and his mother... especially when it's just the two of them in teh house
