When I hear this genius piece of work, I wonder at how we ever got to this x-factor condition. This is beauty in an otherwise dreary and plastic world. Sorry for negativity...but this music sets us free
Oh God, this is gorgeous. I remember seeing them at a gig at the Champness Hall in Rochdale Jesus I still have the ticket. Jim Milne was so kind after the concert. I stayed in touch with the guys for a long ttime. Beautiful album. As is The Way We Live. Fabulous. Thanks for posting!
oh man this takes me all the way back to Rochdale. Steve produced the first recording I ever did (as a very green 15 year old!) in the home studio he had at his parents house in Heywood. Such a kind patient and wonderful guy. Played then watched him play at 2 of the Deeply Vale festivals. Treasured memories. Utterly fantastic live band, I had the great priviledge to watch them play many times. Wish I still had the albums, lost through the turbulance of life.
Me and my mates plus the women, a few bottles of Newcastle brown in the Boat Club Nottingham - listening to this. Thanks for posting and bringing back the memories, wondered if I'd ever hear this again!
love it...takes me back !!!!

Just found a reissue LP of this in Japan, if you are looking, it's on Dandelion records UK. Cover is a tractor with wings. Heavy, dudes!!
