Aithough Sammy is a better singer, he never wanted to sing the songs that made VH the greatest band in the world. DLR is doing well with these old songs but man do they ever need Michael Anthony on backing vocals. With some of the footage I've seen on this tour, Eddie really needs to lay off the bottle.

I've been a Van Halen fan (I'm 46) since the first album. I think it's really pathetic that Eddie has his son in the band. AND, yes he's a fatty. Diamond Dave is obviously in the gym all the time and Eddie looks good too. They are both workers, as is Alex. Does Wolfgang know what "striving" is. Wow, last night I saw VH in Anahiem and it was the best show I've ever seen. They smoked, everyone went psycho. I've never beeen a big fan of DLRoth; however, without him there is no VH. The guy is a true showman, also, it was great to see Eddie and his son play and sing together. Rock history!

Micheal Anthony chose to play with Sammy. FACT! He had plenty of time to call Ed or Al, yet he was out partying with Sammy and at the same time bringing the VH brand to it's new low with that "Other Half" thing. When the lovey-dovey Sammy vibe pisses of Mike (and it will!!), he will then realize what a bad decision he made. We all know Ed's problems with the drink maybe Mikey too has a drinking problem? After all isn't Sammy making millions with his Cabo poison?

It was a purely financial decision. Remember when the tour was first canceled and then Ed went into rehab? They were asking for 2.5 million guarantee per show and Live Nation said they would not underwrite a tour like that without it being a "reunion". They regrouped, took a cut and the tour went on without Mike. The Sammy thing is all smoke and mirrors. The choice was the brothers and Dave, not Mike...I assure you.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE those songs, but because of the Sammy era of only 1 or 2 (same ol songs!) of the VH/Roth era, VH kept to those same songs for over 10 years. They have just burnt me out with those same songs!!
