I love both Crystal and Loretta but I have to say that I find Crystal to be much more diverse. Crystal is a legend and icon in her own right. I don't remember ever hearing this song but I love how Crystal sings it!
This is a song that my mother sang many year ago before she died. I remember it like it was yesterday. It gave me a very fond moment and I felt my mother's presents one more time I can't tell what this means to be as it is too profound.
Love it! A superb rendition by the great Crystal Gayle and in the style I am used to hearing it sung. I believe the first time I heard this song was in the 1952 version of "Scrooge" starring Allistair Simm. Simply great!

Why is she wearing a wig?
sweetlife031 9 months ago
@sweetlife031 In the singing part to reproduce the hairstyle of the time without cutting her hair.
