  • OCD PEDAL! I though he had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, thought he'd be playing with surgical gloves on.

  • nice playing and fantastic sound!

  • Yeessss that's beautiful. How's the volume on the Suhr?

  • great creamy tone let's hear a few tunes c'mon some Zep of course and some bad company, maybe a few g&r..

  • awwww nice tone!

  • Awesome!great sounding guitar.

  • @GuitarEd48 Thank you very much.

  • hey man nice guitar ! what pickups shes got ??

  • @AlexWolfking Just the stock Jimmy Page Burstbuckers that came in the model. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey! Thanks for uploading this video :)

I've been watching some videos about this amp... Is this the 18w version? If it is, then... Do you think it can be used as your main amp, and not for home playing and rehearsals? I like this amp, but I'm afraid it could end up muted by the rest of the band instruments in a gig... I mean, small clubs, not stadiums :-D

  • @rubendm77 im not sure about this amp in particular but im playing through an orange ad30 and when my band plays gigs i have to CRANK it. i dont mind because it sounds best that way but im not sure if an 18 watt would be able to hang with a full band even in a small club without it being miked up.

  • @jamieakabear2316 I agree. The amp sounds great, but the 30 may be better suited to a live situation. Still, 18w is louder than a lot of people think.

  • @rubendm77 No problem. It is pretty loud. I'd probably want to know that if need be I can get more wattage out of my amp. The 18 can pull it off in a practice, but with a heavy hitting drummer, you'll be on full output.

  • Hi what kind of delay reverb do you have ???

  • I'm trying to remember. I think I was trying out a boss reverb and I may have been using a Maxon delay. I've had a lot of pedals; I'm not 100% sure what I used 2 years ago. The Badger has a great loop, and the pedals are running through it.

  • AWESOME

  • NICE tone bro

  • no marshall?

  • Nice :)

  • is that all the way the distortion/overdrive goes?

  • No, there is a lot more gain if you want it. The amp, and the OCD can give a lot more dirt than what you are hearing here.

  • that blow my mind

  • thats a very good sound and top class playing

  • Sounds incredible. My dream guitar right there. Great playing sir!

  • Thanks Supernovaa and Howardsend88. Nice comments, glad you liked the video.

  • Jesus what a great tone, nice playing also!

  • Oh! Play that bend again! Fucking amazing!

    Congratulation man, perfect sound!

  • Davi and Pete - Thank you for the very kind comments. Glad you like what you hear.

  • I gotta say I like the Div by 13 2x12 cab better.

  • Sounds freakin' killer.

  • Thanks!

  • Hey Mr Todd, is it correct that the middle position is wired out-of-phase stock and that the push-pull is just for coil-splitting?

  • Yes. It's funny how confusing all the Gibson info is regarding this model. The middle position on this guitar is great. Adjusting the volume really has an impact on your tone. The sweep is quiet noticeable. That push/pull splits the bridge pup.

  • what speakers do you have in the cab?

dude, that is tone!! I love it! Suhr Badger is the best man.

One last question, is that the badger 18 or 30?

    Thanks! Sounds great!

  • Hello, and thanks for the kind words. The cab has Celestion Vintage 30s in it (4X12). It's a Badger 18.

  • Thanks for the information man. Keep on rockin!

  • What are precisely the pickups model? Bridge and Neck

  • These are the stock pickups in the guitar. They are listed as jimmy Page pickups if memory serves me right. They were only used in the CS Page guitars.

  • Ok,,,, but what are the stock pickups? 57 classic, BurstBucker?

  • They are not listed as either. Given it's a 2006, you would think they would be Burstbuckers, but Gibson listed them as Custom Jimmy Page pickups. Gibson seems to list everything as Burstbuckers now. I just played a Bloomfield against two 50th R9s, and there is no way the pups are the same in the different models. However, the pups are listed as BB1 and 2 in both. Typical Gibson move with the clouded details.

  • the jimmy page les paul has special burstbucker 1 & 2s that have 4-conductor wire and push-pull pots for coil tapping and phase switching. the regular BBs sound pretty good by themselves too.

  • ecstasy I mean - I ate too many paint chips when I was a kid

  • do you have an esctasy ? - I have a 101b and a classic- I have been researching the les paul price vs. quality thing- thinking about a standard for the sound- but for the money I can get a suhr or a grosh with insane quality - I do love the huge notes that les pauls throw out there- I just don't know

  • I love Suhr guitars. But to my ears, only a Les Paul sounds like a Les Paul. I've had some dogs, but I've also had some sweet ones too. I do not have the Ecstasy. I hear it's great.

  • is that the 80 grand replica?!

  • No, it's the Custom Authentic one. You're thinking of the Murphy signed by JPP.

  • Klkl

  • What a sound, damned...

  • where can I buy the Edwards les paul like yours?

  • Sorry, but I don't know what an Edwards Les Paul is.

  • ebay would probably work

  • Thats a Jimmy Page Les Paul

  • katana guitars, i seen a few there

  • Nice vid man, thanks for posting. Been meaning to check out the OCD for a while!

  • I have the same guitar and the same cab ... So i play with a Bad Cat hot Cat 30 head .

    It's the most fuck'n Guitar i've played ...

    Rock'n roll from france !!

  • WOW look at that top... youve got one of the nicest CS gibsons ive ever seen...

  • What a guitar! Great sound! Do you think you could do a demo video of your Jimmy Page Les Paul please? There isn't a good one of ot on youtube. Well none that I can find. Would love to hear more about it and the different sound it has, with the push pull knob..

  • I would if I could, but the JPP is gone....gone....gone. I really should have done such a video while I had it. Thanks for the comments.

  • Really, gone....gone....gone, done and moved on!

Shame! Never mind though.. Must have been great to have owned one for a time... I'd love to play Jimmy Page model some day. I've got my Standard Les Paul to keep going. lol

  • A friend of mine has the same JPP guitar. You never know, I may get one again. If I get another one in my home, I'll be sure to post a video. Standards are great guitars. I used one in a band for years.

  • i got to play one of those jimmy page bursts myself and it was the greatest guitar i have EVER played. It was so versatile and AMAZINGLEY raw sounding guitar. You can get any tone with it it was amazing. The best sound les paul EVER

  • :0 TONE!! Very nice my friend!

  • Thanks!

  • how much does the page les paul cost? ps what pickups r there in what position? im thinkin of making my own little "custom" one

  • They are no longer in production. They pop up on Ebay for around $7k. The p/ups are a special JP design for this model. Check out some of the Les Paul forums for more detailed info. The out of phase middle position is pretty cool sounding. Good luck with the project.

  • COULD IT BE?!!??!? AUTHENTIC JIMMY PAGE LES PAUL!?!?! seriously dude, i think its worth like $60,000 now.. is it the murphy?

  • It's the Custom Authentic model, not the Murphy.

  • D4ng3rboy - I erased your last post by mistake (I hit remove instead of reply). Thanks for the compliments! The guitar sounds cool, but the super thin neck isn't for everybody.

  • a smack of pure tone to the head!!!

    awesome combination!!

  • Thanks Sam. A lot has to be said for the Badger. It sounds great with a Strat or a LP.

  • are you going to post a video with a strat too?

it would be great if you did that!

what did the amp cost you?

  • I'll try to get a Strat/Tele clip up at some point. The amp cost me around $1600 for the head. The cabs (Bogner or D/13) were purchased used.

  • That tone is perfect. Congrats on the purchase.

  • @Razevok Thank you!

  • wow im jealous. : (

  • nice man. SICK guitar. very nice

  • @stratboy69 Thanks!

  • what finish is that les paul?? its beautiful, im buying one next month and i want that colour!! if anyone knows please tell me , very much appreciated

  • that color is called page burst, and it only comes with jimmy page's custom les paul standard

  • This is true. It is somewhere between an iced tea and a cherry burst.

  • nice tone fella! That LP sounds gr8.

    OCD on lp or hp?

  • Thanks. The OCD is on LP.

  • Good to hear this Suhr baby... Congrats :)...

Which pup's you have on that LP dude?...

    Rock on!.

  • Thanks. The guitar has the "Jimmy Page Custom Burstbucker" Pickups in it. Apparently, they are a special design for any of the Gibson Custom Shop Page models. They sound a little brighter to my ear (compared to any other BB pickups I've had).

  • do have the push pull pots in that guitar

  • It has the push/pull pot on the bridge pickup (tone knob). It is a 2005 Gibson Custom Shop reproduction of Page's #1.

  • Thanks! In this clip, I'm running the Boss DD-20 Delay along with a Boss RV-5 Reverb. They are both running through the loop. I've since gotten my hands on a fender '63 reissue reverb tank that is amazing. I'll try to get a clip up with that soon.

  • What delay and reverb are you using. Sounds great!

  • Thanks. The drive is set at about 11 o'clock (if I remember correctly). I'm not using the power scaling. It was pretty loud too. It's hard to capture the true sound of the amp with the computer mic. This is as close as I could get.

  • sounds very nice! is this the overdrive that you get with the OCD and the amp set clean?
