I like how the anime gives a few hints here and there(like a glimpse of kiritsugu emiya holding ilya in his shoulder in one of the eps/archer remembering shirou's face in one of his last moments) to keep the full picture subtle yet intriguing..

Dark Sakura was Yandere, regular Sakura wasn't. Regular Sakura wanted to kill herself so badly, but GAR shiro slapped her out of that. HF was the best route in F/SN imo, but everyones entitled to their opinion :3

i hate that route he gave up his ideals for her, he became sakura's hero therefore not sacrificing himself for the sake of others, He kept that in Fate and UBW only in UBW Rin promised Archer that she will not let Shiro become Archer.

I however loved that route. It was genuinely dark which is something that i've come to know from T-M.

This arc was also the arc where Shirou was probably the mature in. He knew the risks and the limits of his strength and the only emo parts of this story was completely resolved and overshadowed by the most GAR moments of the story

And plus this is the only arc where Shirou pimp-slaps a bitch *3*... Kidding, but in all seriousness SakuraxShirou has had a lot more substance that any other ship

When I watch the anime it feels like if 70% of the plot is missing. I wonder why?

Haha, I did it the other way around. I don't know, I think it did a decent job, as long as you keep in mind they just wanted to focus on the Fate route.
