I love this song! It is one of those songs that deeply touch you deep in your soul ! People can be so cold and heartless and treat you like your just a number--so you feel like that and want to rebel against such cold, hateful hearts! This song is saying that every person is valuable and has dignity! God created me for very special reasons, and I'm not a number to him! Peace, BobbyK

Bob Seger. He was great then, and is still great now. This song speaks for the millions of everyday Joe's who drag their tails out of bed tired every morning, and come home every evening tired so they can pay their bills and take care of their families. You can keep all your money Donald Trump, because you will never know the feeling of satisfaction a working man has knowing he's earned everything he's got.
