The only way to save a life is to save yourself first then clear the path for others and show them hands and hugs and love along the way. Nobody can finish your walk in your shoes. The path is yours it is just your way but maybe a few people could do with less stuff or people in the way if you clear the path. Show the way. That would be the "edited" version on Good Will Hunting. The unedited version has skylar tells a joke about an elderly couple on their anniversary. The end of the joke is "Give us a kiss"

Fantastic Video! I love the tansition from "just a kid" to the ticking clock at the beginning, there are so many moments where the audio and clip match perfectly such as- 00:32 "need to talk" section, the song's "window" lyric at 00:49 showing the painting, 01:00 "wonder why you came" and 02:23 "raise his voice" and "choice". My sole criticism would be the clip jump at 01:42 but that's very minor.

This video is just so great, Well Done!

I thought the end of this video was really sad (with Ben Affleck knocking on the door and everything). I'm glad you acknowledged that part of the movie! The song fits perfectly too.

You missed the point then.. The scene where Ben Affleck knocking on the door and realizing Matt isnt home is supposed to be a happy scene. It is the point where Ben realizes that Matt has gone away and done something to live up to his own potential.

Earlier in the movie they talked about this..

As you watch him come to the realization that Matt isnt there, he gets a smile on his face because he's happy that Matt has gone off and done something more with his life.

Yes, he is happy for Will because he realizes that Matt finally honored himself by doing something good in the world.

But think: Would you be jumping for joy if your best friend left all of a sudden without a single word? Ben may realize the sense and good intention in Matt's actions (which is why he smiles), but the smile wasn't one of joy. The scene is certainly bitter-sweet, but definitely not 'happy'.
