@exaturbo At 48v the ezee will get you aprox 35 to 40 km/h assuming good tires and a nomral body weight .. below 200 lbs... you will notice the ezee is ALOT more quiet than the cyclone !!..
thanks, i am shopping these.there are quite a few hubs and it was hard to tell who made them. michigan has a section of vehicle law called personal electric vehicles, the way i interpret it it says as long as there is an audible warning device and is limited to 15 mph no problem. they do not limit how fast you can get to 15 mph! they treat it like an amigo mobility device, so anywhere there is a foot path for ped. traffic.
@ Ypedal.
im considering the ezee kit for my next ebike.
my first was a cyclone motor 24V 500W
i would want to run the ezee at 48V.
can you please tell me what kind of speed i should expect at 48V with a 15A LiFe pack ?

@Ypedal
thanks.
im about 205 pounds (93 KG) i need to lose some weight.
so im getting back into cycling and wanted the geared hub motor this time.
with the cyclone, i could manage about 45 kmh with moderate human input.
if i can get 40kmh with the same or similar input, ill be happy with the ezee.
my last bike was running LRR semi slicks, the new one will use the same.
i wasn't that bothered by the noise of the cyclone, so if you're saying the ezee is quieter, ill be even happier !
thanks.

The batteries are in the backpacks for testing, once the motors prove reliable and all systems " go " .. then pedals get bolted on.
the chopper has a 48v 40 amp controller, and the red bike has a 36v 15 amp controller.. not a fair race but still fun playing around.
Half way up the road he turned around and the battery got disconected lol.. no blown engines.

is the ezee a heinmann or a china import?

It's not a heinzmann. I beleive it's made in china, by BMC but not 100 % sure.

Hi, eZee is not heinzmann, nor is it by BMC, the bikes are partly made in China, we source for components worldwide.
