Hi HS, enjoy your response but have a few things to say! 1st, I do think many ideologies come from Satan, but I don't believe one party represents the good and the other evil. I would say that all human ideological systems are evil to the extent that they are untrue: for example, Communism has an atheistic worldview at its base, so it is based on evil because atheism is UNTRUE. It will not turn out well, because a corrupt tree cannot bear good fruit.

I can to some extent agree to that ideologies should be "true". Whatever that is. Everyone has a different opinion, and NO MATTER WHAT that is, it is just as valid as anyone else's. That is the foundation of freedom of speech, which we can all agree is worth supporting, more than anyone's personal view of "the truth".

I believe the devil will work two sides in order to sow confusion and make people think there are ONLY those two sides: so that, whichever side you choose, it's the devil's side. That's where the expression, "lesser of two evils" comes from. Hey, why not seek the greater good instead and refuse evil? I thank Jesus for saving me and opening my eyes.

@Enoch2 I'll recognise the fact that soviet abolished religions practice and that is a fundamental difference, but the overall way of life is strikingly similar to Soviet-era farmers and workers (Common ownership of goods, supporting the despotic emperor, plurality, community service, worship of a single diety, etc).

Hi HS, enjoy your response but have a few things to say! 1st, I do think many ideologies come from Satan, but I don't believe one party represents the good and the other evil. I would say that all human ideological systems are evil to the extent that they are untrue: for example, Communism has an atheistic worldview at its base, so it is based on evil because atheism is UNTRUE. It will not turn out well, because a corrupt tree cannot bear good fruit.

I can to some extent agree to that ideologies should be "true". Whatever that is. Everyone has a different opinion, and NO MATTER WHAT that is, it is just as valid as anyone else's. That is the foundation of freedom of speech, which we can all agree is worth supporting, more than anyone's personal view of "the truth".
Because the truth varies according to who you ask. I for example, am an atheist.

Other than that, there is no reason to believe the stuff in the Bible is true, more than any other religious text. That is why it is important to base your views on
1) Things we can all discuss objectivly and equally
2) Things we call can agree on are true.
If you're going to debate across religions there isn't a common view on what is "Truth".

Fox' own book where Fox admitted not taking his medication so that his symptoms would show for public appearances. Limbaugh never said that Fox faked his condition. Also, Rush is rich, but not a billionaire. Finally, how does Rush being rich justify a constant stream of slander, libel and distortion. Strike Three, you're out!
