  • Killer Whales are the beast and king of the ocean. Ha! Way 2 go whales!!! Keep killing those sharks!!! Lol. And keep the ocean clean.

  • @sequica Why would you want orcas to kill sharks?

  • Damn, those Orcas went after that shark like they were saying to the tourist..."fear a shark? We kill whales dammit."

  • They don't call them Killer Whales for nothing...They are amazing predators...Look up the Vid with Orca Pod vs. the Sea Lion in Antartica sometime...Sea Lion thinks it's safe perched atop a fairly large ice flow.... NOT....Amazing video..Even more amazing is how the whales get the Sea Lion.. The intelligence & team work displayed by these "animals" rivals anything I've ever seen in the human world...P.S. I wouldn't be surprised a bit if the Whale was showing off...It's in their nature..

  • Not available in Canada? I'm not impressed with national geographic

  • Im not really surprised. Orcas are notorious for killing everything, sometimes for no reason.

  • Let's hear it for the mammals

  • You should have your marine biology degree revoked if you call killer whales 'orca's'. That was a movie character, moron.

  • @spencerc6 Um....other way around. Orcas are not, in fact, whales--they're dolphin family.

  • @proscriptus Dolphins are whales, they are all cetaceans

  • O HAI GUIZE! WANT SHARK STEAK? NO? HOW BOUT SHARK PATE?

  • beast..

  • Shark fin soup, yum!

  • Is it possible that the Great White is seeking protection by the boat, or that the Killer Whale perceives that the Great White is going to harm the humans? Perhaps this is why the whale brings the Great White back to show off to the humans. Either way this is amazing! Sharon Link, Ph.D.

  • @SharonLink The shark did seem to be using the boat as cover, lots of fish use any floating debris as protection, but I think you're anthropomorphising the whale a bit. It might have seemed to be showing the shark to the people but it's more likely that that's natural behaviour and the people just happened to be there. Also highly doubtful that the whale had any thoughts of protecting people, just its own pod and maybe getting a tasty shark liver.

  • orca's just belong to a better class that's all : D (mammal)

  • plz lock this up on youtube and lock up peter is a shark. and tell me on my channel and tell me if im rite or not thank you and have a good day;)

  • FAMILY GUY JAWS

perter-ehehehehehehehe i'm a shark dont come near me ehehehehehehehehehe eheheheheheheh im a shark dont come near me or i will eat u ehehehehehehehehe

mother- perter would youtube nock that off ur geting annoyinying.

family guy- FINE i'll srace some other people to scare.

Dog- they wont bye it no sharks r out here.

shark- hey i ate a dog yesterday i gone the bone sttuck in me nose +and i could eat u if i wanted to.

  • @Monolith787 i fully agree with you, btw in Alaska, Certain packs of Wolves, attack, kill, and eat grizzles, tho the bear is completely out numbered, still an impressive feat by the wolves

  • wrestlers use this technique to put on a good show in Florida.

    2) once the shark had died the great white population left their usual hunting ground. Pretty nearly instantly. The implication being that some scent, with staying power, repelled the sharks for the rest of the shark feeding season in that region. This observation led to tests being done on the effect of the rotting carcass of sharks for use in shark repellant for divers. The testing showed that it was effective to drop this scen

  • The thing that I found fascinating about this deadly encounter was the method of killing the shark and the aftermath reaction of the great white population.

    1) the orca swam upside down when it initially bit the shark, once it had the shark in it's mouth it flipped back over making the shark the upside-down one. This made killing the shark a simple matter. It seems that sharks are like some lizards, when upside down they are essentially paralyzed. alligator wrestlers use this technique to put

  • Why is this a surprise to anyone?

Killer whales are bigger, faster, and vastly more intelligent than great white sharks. Sure, they usually hunt smaller prey than great whites and the two predators don’t cross paths very often, but that doesn’t mean that when they do cross paths the killer whale wouldn’t be willing to hunt and kill a great white. People often forget (because of these idiotic Sea World shows) that orcas are extremely dangerous predators capable of killing damn-near anything.

  • @DrSandmann Great comment. Dolphins and orcas are predators capable of great damage--and they're incredibly smart. What's not mentioned in this video is that the orca knew exactly what it was doing in turning the white shark over on it's back--sharks panic in that situation, and then choke because they need to swim to breathe. Dolphins and whales communicate, too--this has been seen in other parts of the world

  • @rubiconsedge they dont panic they go into a trance.

  • I was at the dock when the commotion happened on that day. I remember Capt Mick telling everyone at the harbor what they just saw and everyone at the boat were excited on what they just witnessed. Once in a life time event. Capt Mick runs fishing trips and whale watching excursions. But also during late fall and early winter, he will do Great White Shark excursions where you can go inside a cage and watch the great whites.

  • SCREW YOUR COMMERCIALS.

  • the great white swam towards the killer whales? that must have been like the special great white huh?

  • If I can be an animal, I would want to be an Killer whale. Too beasty yet so graceful.

  • shark: im lost

    orca: exuse me

    shark: STAY AWAY!!

orca: yum i shold eat shark more often

  • Screw Shark Week, let's have Orca Week!!!

  • killer whales are bigger faster and stronger then a great white shark. i would think it would come down to which on is bigger will win.

  • @jackerman3040 and a whole lot smarter lol... cartilaginous fish even predate bony fish.

  • Nobody Messes with Shamu

  • That shark messed with the wrong Orca! I think the Orca was protecting the other whales and the whale watchers. Unbelievable!

  • Comment removed

  • So awsome lol.

  • 26 sharks attempted to avenge jaws.

    Don't fuck with Shamoo.

  • lol dont fuck with the whales

  • The question is: Could some orcas take down a Megalodon?

  • Comment removed

  • @MZaksek13 Well they obviously can take down Megalodon, the species went extinct! lol.

  • @MZaksek13 Well seeing that killer whales dont often swim alone, they swim in groups called pods. so 5-10 23ft 12,000 lb whales vs a megaladon woould probably be a bad scenerio for any sea creature.

  • OMG jaws just killed free willy!

  • The real Jaws would of killed that whale in seconds

  • @232sackboy Nope, because the "real" Jawz was actually a machine, which constantly malfunctioned so I doubt it.

  • Shark kills woman, shark eats boy for lunch, shark eats scoutmaster, shark eats shark fisherman; killer whales eat great white shark for lunch! I LOVE IT!

  • orcas r like guardians sent to protect us fisher men from sharks

  • I would like to see a new Jaws movie. And at the end Killer Whale pulls a rescue.

  • @murraydonald62 Great idea! Shamu terrorizes and eats Jaws!

  • The orcas around Farallon islands have learned this technique of shark hunting, and taught it to other members of their pod. This behavior is unique to that particular pod! Sharks go into paralysis when they are held belly up and somehow this amazingly intelligent animal learned that and exploits it! The sea is full of amazing mysteries. <3

  • and people wonder why trainers get killed by these whales......ahhh because they are the baddest mofos on the block.....and then we stick them in a cage and force them to clap fins and jump around according to a training scheduel....bottled rage eventually blows

  • WOW! This video's insane! In the sense of you never really see something like this happen where the orca battles the great white & wins. ESPECIALLY a great white THAT BIG! I can only imagine how floored the people who saw this in person were realizing what they just saw happen. Boy, I guess that great white picked the wrong orca to mess with that day.

  • The orca is saying "Look guys it's safe to go back in the water!" "I'm going to go feed the kids shark liver now..."

  • this blows. at least we can breed orcas in captivity. we can't even keep a great white alive in captivity

  • Poor poor shark:(

  • Poor Poor Shark:(

  • the japanese whale companies need to leave the beautiful whales alone and hunt a few of these .

  • @Andy97v seriously? it's amazing to me that they will let just anyone leave a comment on open internet forums; it has a way of showcasing the stupidity of below average, brainwashed zombies.

  • @lezzunz4fR33 actually no since orcas are rivals of the japanese whaling companies and eat humpback and minky whales. might as well hunt a few of them and also its youtube and comments can be anything. u are just a stubborn person that doesnt like to see other peoples opinions. you really should think about what u say when u say somethin like this to other people.

  • @Andy97v really? because i actually thought i put quite alot of thought into that comment. you seem to be the one showing the malice of your bias; so because one whale is beautiful to you, you wish to protect it, but because another displeases you, you feel entitled to condemn it to the fate that you abhor that often befalls the species you prefer? play theoretical god much, do we? if you know anything about predacious species, you will know that theirs is a tenuous existence at best, and that,.

  • @Andy97v small changes in environment (ie your paradigm shift in the prefered whaling species) can have drastic and irreparable consequences on a particular species. so to redirect the focus of an entire whaling fleet from a species of whale that is prolific enough that seasonal hunting does not affect the breeding stock to an animal that exists in only handful numbers and exactly three distinct pod families would devastate the entire species. congratulations, you've just caused your first,..

  • @lezzunz4fR33 first what? who the fuck gives a shit. YOU ARE A SMART ASS THAT NO ONE IN THE WORLD LIKES. DO YOU SEE ANYONE ELSE POSTING THIS BESIDES YOU? NO BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO CONFIDENT WITH YOUR SELF THAT YOUR SO SMART YOU ALWAYS WIN. also you sound like a fuckin 4 year old arguing with me a high school that hasnt gotten any experience with marine biology yet?

  • @Andy97v theoretical mass extinction. what else do you like to play theoretical god with? what else will see it's fate decided by you? maybe you dislike snakes? goats? insects? what other delicate ecological balances do you wish to tamper with? let's take your logic and apply it to people. now you have the seeds for racially based genocide. all you know is the bullshit they feed you on the animal planet. the japanese have hunted the same game for thousands of years. we are part of the ecology

  • @lezzunz4fR33 look im only saying they should hunt a few orcas and i am no god. you seem to be crazy as hell since u really think just because i dont like orcas i hate all those other animals? i love other animals such as snakes, tigers, elephants, and so on. you need to except the fact that i have my own opinions. you need to lay off and shut the fuck up since you seem to know everthing known to man. Go to a university of marine biology or somethin but dont argue with me. its just my opinion.

  • @lezzunz4fR33 also it not a forum its a site for uploading videos where the author of the vid has the power to disable or enable comments. go to a whale forums if you want to post shit like this to others.

  • @Andy97v sorry there, andy, didn't mean to get you all upset. i was just stating MY opinion. that's the real problem with douchebags such as yourself; you want to voice your OPINIONS on open and international FORUMS and you expect no one disagree with you. again, what you suggest is a pointedly malicious reprisal directed towards a species you deem unworthy. oh, and you focus all of your vitriol on a species that is already under pressure to feed itself in a competitive world. have a nice day.

  • @lezzunz4fR33 ok sorry just stop commenting

  • why is everybody so amazed? orcas are the top predator in the sea and will obviously kill everything

  • the megladon i think cud take down an orca , although great whites are strong

  • oh my god in orca

  • Yes yes, u orcas love the livers, feast upon it my black n white friends >:)

  • Why the fuck do people still hunt whales? They don't hurt us and are dangerous plus inhumane to hunt. Although great white sharks look a lot more dangerous than a killer whale (most of the time), a whale can usually kill a shark.

  • people should stop hunting killer whales. when have they hurt us? (minus the sea world incident) we kill more each day

  • Killer Whales= CUTE!!!

  • so let me get this straight a blondie on a thing.so what dose that have to do with anything

  • The other great whites are like "oh shit we gotta start evolving into megalodon's!)

  • Black and white animal are deceptively dangerous. Love em.

  • bears rule the land, if there was a bear chasin me to a water source with a pissed of orca in it i don't no what the fuck i would do

  • @Monolith787 I do I'd turn around and face the bear before i even go near that water at least there I'm not at a obvious disadvantage 2ton dolphin out for blood or 300 lb bear who hunts alone

  • Theres one creature you dont wanna fuck with thats a Killer Whale... Dolphins are the most intelligent of all sea creatures, To me a Killer Whale is a Super Upped More Agressive and Cocky Dolphin. It has a gigantic fucking mouth and Definatelly strong head gigantic fucking teeth and huge bite, and look at the THING ITS FUCKING EVIL

  • @matanuska10 Evil? The rest of what you said sounds ok, but evil? Naw, humans are evil. Killer whales kill to survive. If they kill it, they eat it, at least the parts they want. The rest supports other sea life. But we humans go overboard with traps and guns. Imagine a trapped animal. Trapper gets animal. Animal is trapped for 17 hours before he is video taped for YT, poked at, messed with, shot or smashed over the head, and so on. Hunters allow animals to bleed out, suffering. Who's evil?

  • @walk4trot2canter3

bullshit. only assholes do stuff like that. the first thing any real hunter is taught is to kill the animal in one go so they DONT have to suffer

  • @TheOldcountryboy OK, please check out "Troy Gentry kills bear" on You Tube and see what some hunters do. I'm sure there's a lot of "ethical" hunters who follow the laws and rules of hunting, however thanks to You Tube, I am aware of how cruel and heartless many hunters can be. You may be a good shot, however I hear two, three, and four shots regularly during deer season, as hunters can't seem to get that get they spot they needed to put the guy down. Trapping is worse. Sad situation.

  • dont mess with killer whales

  • Gangsta

  • The 21 people who don't like this video have been attacked by a Killer Whale.

  • Why would this be a surprise? The Orca is faster, bigger, smarter, and far more powerful, with sonar, and superior vision. Above all, the Orca IS the perfect killer.

  • @weninjason Well said!

  • Awesome!

  • Killer Whales must know when you roll a shark over on its back it parylizes the shark...looks like the Orca grabbed the shark by the back of its neck and flipped it over. Then ate some liver....

  • i hate how they edited this video. the killer whales that are swimming at the beginnign arent even the same whales that ate the shark >:/

  • The special effects in this movie suck! The killer whale looks like a rubber toy. Still, the giant shark would always win and eat the man in the boat too.

  • @FluffyFeralMarmot the shark would never win

  • @Sasquatch668 Sharks have an immortal brain like a monkey. Whales are just cheap tricks at the show. who you think would win, monkeys are like the smartest animal kingdom!

  • @FluffyFeralMarmot dude are you high. killer whales are extremely inteligent. they are relatives of the dolphins which makes them just as smart. sharks are mindless eating machines who run directly on instinct but im not saying they attack humans for no reason because thats not true but the thing is whales are extremely smart

  • @FluffyFeralMarmot i dont know why theres even a discussion on this... the orca being a giant bus sized mammal and the shark being much smaller they're very close to evenly matched but in this particular situation the whale has snapped the sharks neck therefore he is now dead

  • @FluffyFeralMarmot You have no idea what you're talkin about Fluffy Puffy! We're talkin about a 1-2 ton shark against a 3-7 ton orca. You do the math einstein.

  • what would happen if a human went in the water?

  • nah still a killer whale could kill any single shark please right back.

  • awesome

  • So let me get this straight...

Great White Shark = Bad Mofo

    Killer Whale = Eats/Plays with Bad Mofo's

Small Blonde Female in a Wetsuit = Okay to swim with Bad Mofo.

Either my reasoning is flawed, or the lovely people at Sea World just don't give a fuck. Place your bets.

  • I would think that the boy heard at 2:22 would want the shark to win.

I personally love to see the orca beat up the shark

  • haha sharks are the garbage disposal of the sea with no intelligence..haha killer whales can choose whether or not to kill it or play with it .lol

  • wow the shark got drowned by a whale

  • @IPIay lol, I dont think that he actually drowned... lol

  • @Jorja1223 lol

  • Wow.

  • The Killer Whale's personality, by nature, is very social, can almost be compared to the attitude of a child but with a greater intellect. In comparison with a child: they can be very playful and loving, and tend to be very friendly. But like a child, they can get very rough when they play, and when they get upset, they can get out of control. But due to their intelligence, they're amazing hunters, very protective, and when it's time for a showdown, they know how to come out on top, lol.

  • Catatonic immobility. Turn a shark upside down and it drowns.

  • AMAZING ! ! !

  • to bad u couldn't actually see the fight

  • soo would an orca eat me or help me?

  • @himynamelscolin a wild one would most def. eat you

  • Mammals - 1

    Fish - 0

Now the shark know how it feels. I would love to see more of this

  • i would like too see an orka vs a megaladon.haha

  • @onison77 if that happend then megaladon would win!!!!!:)

  • killer whale was showing off to the people with a white shark in its mouth!

  • wow it most hated that shark

  • killer whales are not called so because they are whales, they are actually from the dolphin family and are called killer whales because they are whale killers....they kill whales and prey on them..

  • Whales are the best! Big moma had enough!lol

  • I'm not surprised. They weren't called "Killer whales" for nothing.

  • Killer whale = king of the sea

  • The Orca was using hacks

  • Score one for the mammals.

  • I thought it was common knowledge that orcas kill white sharks.

  • I thought the orca killed the shark b/c she thought the shark was a threat to her calf.

  • I love killer whales

  • Orca's are the best they are my fav animal....

  • It should be known that this was a JUVENILLE Great White being reckless and trying to take on an ADULT Killer Whale. Of course the Whale got the kill.

  • @YamaChan Even an adult great white max length 18 ft stands absolutly NO chance against even a moderatly 25 ft. sized Orca....Killer whales grow to 35 ft and are smarter not to mention the brute force....your asian, do the math. The only time Great whites feed on Orcas is when they are young, old or very sick.

  • sharks are cooler.

  • Orca"s are my fav animal.

  • "we didn't know that would happen'.... didn't ANY of these people see the movie 'Orca"? It eats a Great White in that one.

  • um i thought that a killer whale could take on a shark... i didnt know this is a one time thing or hardly ever...

  • lose the commercial

  • sharks are innocent and harmless, the only reason they attack humans is because they are mistaken with sea lions. so stop hating on sharks!!! >.<

  • Wow, just realized that the killer whales had been hunting the shark for awhile and the shark was trying to hide from them by using the boat! Killer whales have echolocation and would have spotted the shark from a long distance. This meeting was no coincidence. Seals have done this in the past when trying to get away from great whites! i guess they want the liver b/c its high in cholesterol

  • killer whales are GANSTERS

  • Though i love white sharks, it's without a doubt that Orcas are the apex predator of the ocean. Not even humpbacks are safe from them. But then again, to all wolf lovers: what happens versus a lion? When matched against someone so far out of your league, of course he's gonna lose.

  • @NoMercyVideo your really smart you know that :)

  • Now thats the facts I saw jaws 2 and that dead orca on the beach was bullshit an orca would waste a great white orcas are bad ass they are fighters and nothing to recond with whites 25 feet max orcas 36 feet and can think. great whites not as tough

  • WOW! Truly, a predator's predator

  • If the megladon were still alive, well lets just say the killer would be killed

  • cool video but the woman acts stupid she uses big words to make herself sound smarter.

  • Shark:I just did your girlfriend.

    Whale: WHAT! OH HELL NO!

    Shark:Lets get it then son!

    Shark:dead lmao

  • Anyone else think that this wasent a suprise? Shamoo kills all..

  • wooooo killer whales!!!

  • THAT is awesome. I had no idea what badasses Orca's are. To take that Great White with ease? Wow.

  • Orca badass of the oceans...

  • I think that was great. Perhaps the orca was protecting the boat; perhaps not. But still, I'd praise them for it, because that's one less predator that they won't have to worry about.

  • I wanna see an Orca fight a Megalodon!!

  • Yes, and I want a Pony for Christmas...as for your Megalodon...EXTINCT.

Can I interest you in human-cockfighting, where grown men on TV climb into cages beating themselves senseless?? It's ALL there man...waiting for you.

  • @RStarga HUMAN COCKFIGHTING!!!! Now it's interesting.

  • I'm so fucking afraid of sharks but I LOVE orcas!

    Orcas own great whites!

  • dont worry GWS fans, jaws did way better than orca in the box office

  • @sadfountains LOL, that's as close as the shark will ever get to beating an orca.

  • that is crazy. but cool

  • this was a juvenile white shark estimated between 7-8 feet long, half the size of a normal white shark

  • @elitesack yeah and the whale was like 20 ft right?

  • @elitesack no way look at the video the shark is easily much longer than 7 feet, its damn near the same sizer as the whale besides an orka being the worlds biggest dolphin will always beat any shark, as dolphins very very often kill sharks much much larger than themselves

  • @orkasteez actually experts said it was a juvenile only 7-8 feet long, i was in fifth grade when the original was on the news.

  • @elitesack u dont need an expert homo sack you can see it and unless the whale is about the same damn size than that sharks alot bigger than 7 feet... oh and your a channel shows your an uninteresting homo that uploads black videos of the gay sky fag face dick licker

  • @orkasteez oh i thought u'd have a cool channel, but, you are just a narcissistic hippie that smokes pot.

  • yumm. shark liver.

  • Yeah! Kill damn sharks.

  • Proof you should always bet on black

  • @diestainless rofl

  • Damn...

  • nigga got owned

  • sharks have necks?

  • The mother probAbly did it to protect her cald

  • Killer Whales are Apex Predators, Meaning their literally have no predators. They are the top of the food chain in the entire ocean. They own everything.

  • Killer Whales can eat sharks just as sharks can eat you :)

  • amazing something so cute can be so bad arse :O

  • Righteous!

  • that shark must of been tired jaws would of owned it

  • @holytj1 mmmm no. orcas have no natural predators.
