I heard the real reason why they split is because a fortune teller told them that in a few years time, a gay band of little shits called The Jonas Brothers would destroy one of their best songs (Year 3000) and Busted couldn't live with that. So they had to part ways and start fresh musically in order to overcome the horror of those JB cunt-slapping douches.
