I still like my Palm Centro. I won't give it up until I have to. Quick...name another smartphone that does NOT require a data plan, that allows you to get thousands of free programs from the internet. Bet you can't think of any. Also, I have big, big hands and I can type very easily.

I have huge hands...no problem with keyboard if you use your (short) fingernails to type with. I like this phone better than blackberry...which most people don't need unless they need push email. Call me uncool, but I also like the Centro better than my daughters iphone.

I've had my phone for @2 weeks now. Love It!! I'm not sure however about the web. When you leave that app. does it turn the web off? I was told it would run my battery down fast if it is left on. Thanks.

i think you were too hard on the keyboard. I have big hands and I've used it in the store. You can't type the same way as you would on a sidekick per say, you have to get used to it and type in a way that suites the keyboard itself. It's easy to get used to.

Well, those phones are in different leagues as the Palm Centro. The Centro is for people that are just trying to get a feel for a very basic Smartphone.

On a sidenote, I really want the Xperia.
