Astro A40 Gaming Headset

I've already got some Astro A40's with the wired mix amp in my games room & now I've just ordered another pair but with the wireless amp for my living room because these things are fucking awesome. Anyone who says that the Trittons are better I can promise you there not but the Trittons are a very good headset, especially for there price but the Astro's are a premium headset at a premium price, if your got the money I highly recommend them.

TRITTON AX-PRO has 4speakers in each earcup that make it TRU 5.1 surround sound. Not the Astros a-40s with only 1 speaker on each earcup. Do your homework guyz..

U are a dumbass these are not the best there just a mid grade headset with a Dolby Digital sound decoder(mix amp) if you were to use a pair of audiophile headphones with the mix amp you would get much better sound.

the astro a40 has a bigger frequency range, and picks up what turtle beach x41 cannot. the a40 is 15 - 28 hz and turtle beach is just 20 - 20. also turtle beach has bass boost and a higher dB.

so does astro have any bass at all. i play bad company 2 and splinter cell and call of duty i wanna be able to enjoy the sound of explosions. like if im in a helicopter in bad company 2 i want it to sound like an actual helicopter like it does on my 500 watt stereo. but i still wanna hear through walls

damn, i really like astros marketing style. they actualy spent money on design and packaging unlike those assholes @ turtle beach. ive noticed they ship their products in style w/ extra rca's and splitter oh and a badass case unlike my TBs that came in a shitty plastic mold that broke d clip of the remote the same day, felt fucking cheap, sound sucked no matter what others say, turtle beach sounds like cheap shit, i got better fidelity hook up a dj mixer w/ sony mdr-700s since it used avi rca's

yeah u can hear yourself slightly which in my opinion is a good thing so if you are gaming late at night you can monitor how loud you speak

u cant hear yourself unless its all the way on vocie and its up all the way.If u can hear yourself and its not all the way on voice and turned all the way up, then check if your daisy chain is push all the way in. this should fix it.
