Depends on what you want. All things considered, imo the 4770 is better.

So on a 4870 @ 4ghz with e8400 @ 3Ghz it wud run smooth as butter on enthusiast? (im gettin those 2 this week)

It should be better than this video but not smooth as butter. You need at least 60fps to get butter smoothness! At least for my tastes!
Anyway, if you find a 4870 running at 4GHz it should run at about 200 FPS and i want one! No wait. Make them two! LOL!

30 fps is good for me in crysis :) and my friend google Palit 4870 dual sonic edition
1gb and 4ghz + 2 fans + u can get it with extra copper heat pipes if u do some research
You wouldn't mean the memory speed which is in fact 1Ghz but since it is GDDR5 we say that it's 4Ghz due to the architecture?
FYI, the core speed is much more important and we refer to it mostly, not the RAM! ;)
All in all, there is no 4Ghz 4870. Only 750mhz and 800mzh ones with video ram at 3600mhz or 4000mhz! That's the correct expression! :)

is this at 4.1 ghz

No, this is at 3.0Ghz. You will notice the fsb which is at 333mhz meaning that the cpu gets from 6*333 at idle to 9*333 at load! ;)
