i dont know a WHOLE lot about cars... so dont flame... but shouldnt there be a supercharger on the T/A and not a turbo for like... more power at lower rpm or something?
a properly tuned turbo will put out the same numbers as a supercharger at about half the cost of a supercharge, the only problem with a turbo is turbo lag AKA it takes a second for the spool inside the shell to get up to speed to force enough air. and with a supercharger its run off of a pulley or belt. but the turbo lag can be solved with a much smaller turbo in front of the actual shell to decrease turbo lagg...hoped that helped =]
acually a turbo will put way more hp down than a supercharger at the same level of boost because there is no parasitic loss. a supercharger will take 3hp per 10hp to make boost so if you have add 200hp with a supercharger you only have 140hp but with a turbo you get all 200hp and lag they reach full boost by 3000-3500rpm unlike a supercharger will not reach full boost untill it reaches 5000-6000rpms

Yeah its just STS designed their turbos for specific engines/cars or you can just mount a universal. Getting a LT1 I could get 600 plus HP and Torque with a easy set up where as with the LS2 I couldn't but we'll see where it goes just 29 days!
I'm getting sick and tired of people sharing this theorized concept that it would be easier to get a LT1 or LS1. I don't want any miles on my car and my cars chassis is perfect. Anyway I purchased a 420 HP/Torque block which is better because now I have zero mileage and I'm getting everything in my car replaced and my suspension will be far superior to any SLP crap. With all the other parts and works it's hardly any money at all and it's cheaper and more efficient this way.
