i don't think 5 minutes is long enough to seriously use it for EVPs but thats just me i know as a Paranormal Hunter i wouldn't use it for that . If it was a longer record time then it might be alright if you didn't want to go out and buy a Digital Recorder just for EVPs .

i see what your saying but you would only have 5 minutes of record time and by the very nature of a EVP you don't know if you caught anything or not since you can't hear it with your ear and would have to stop your evp session after 5 minutes. where as a digital recorder is cheaper, more record time. as for noise filtering what i do is use a audio editing software and when i post a EVP i post both raw EVP and Cleaned Up EVP
