First of all I don't think Quran is science book...and contain many "hidden" scientific facts. But Quran is a book which contains moral guideline and spirituality. The word repetition is a symbol to boost up the belief since Quran was revealed part by part for 23 years. Its indeed a miracle.

In Quran there is NO verse which prohibits or forbid Music... But music or Songs which encourage anti Islamic or anti-social norms are Forbidden. Remember Muhammed also allowed and encouraged poems and poets! But again same rule also applied.

for me the biggest mystery remians the fact that people just neglect the existence of all the prophets. i mean if you are to tell the story of Alexander the Great, people would not say that it never happened, he did not rule half of the world. Why well because he did not talk about god, and he lived about 300 years before Jesus. so when you talk about Jesus to some one(non Believer), they will tell you that he was on crack, and so were all the other prophets who all spoke of the same God.....

I beg to differ, clearly YOU know nothing of the scientific method, epistemology and how knowledge progresses. You think some scripture from the early Medieval period contains all the secrets of the universe and have no problem twisting reality to fit with the text.
Scientific knowledge grows by continuously applying a critical reading to all knowledge and demand repeatable experimental, empirical evidence on every claim. Learn to think critically and apply the same to your beliefs.

What you mentioned here is not science or mathematics; it is meaningless textual alchemy just like Jewish Kabbalah.
I would expect the "omnipotent and omniscient creator of the universe" to provide something better than badly rhyming verses in the obscure dialect of a 6th century desert Bedouin tribe. Any university text on physics or philosophy contains more wisdom and useful knowledge.

Secularism does NOT mean forcing you out of your faith. It means that civil institutions should govern matters of collective interest. This is the only guarantee that ideology - religious or otherwise - does not take over freedoms.
There is no way that theologians and imams will allow true freedom of speech. This would undermine their "sanctity" and erode their power and their legitimacy.

But what I find funny is that the quran describes the universe like Aristotle, as having 7 HEAVENS. 7 heavens is the long, ancient believe that has been proved wrong for centuries after Copernicus. 3:3. It is He Who sent down to thee (O' Muhammad, step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
Remember that all your questions and concerns about the truth of this Book has been answered by God within it.

Well I think prisspross is right, how easy can it be for a man to write a book of 604 pages with all these "coincedences", and this symmetry, specially when he did not know how to read or write (which was Allah's choice for him so that you poeple would not say he wrote it, and nevertheless people still say it).
Strangely also we found in that "coincedential" book, a mentioning of the development of children inside the amniotic sac from a book which is 1400 years old; what a coincednce?!?!?

By complete data I mean there should be a site which has all the ayahs/verses listed showing the word so any one can see what is counted and why and what is not counted and why. Arabic words are a bit complicated and are not like English words. If I tell you to list all the 24 occurrences of 'Man' and Woman. Can you do that? If you have such a data please let me know if you can give me.
