This isn't impressive at all, at first sight it looks great, but she had 2 idols, and 2 people were under fire, because Danielle had immunity, Russell had pretended to flip, and Amanda told Parvati to play the idol for herself, so she knew that Amanda was trying to trick her, Jerri and Sandra were the only people that they might actually vote for.
People may want to think this is an incredible move, but when the shit REALLY hit the fan and it was 6 to 3 with Boston Rob, she needed Russell.
@IceYourPimpHand I disagree. There were so many factors to consider. I mean, I'd like to think I'd have gathered that Amanda was lying but think about how much more confusing it must be for her actually in the game. I mean, I think it was gutzy and her delivery was flawless.
@Anezja Parvati even said she knew Amanda was full of shit, so It only left 2 people that were realistic potential votes, and she had two idols, none of them she found by herself I might add.
@IceYourPimpHand It was such a ballsy move to have two idols and to play both of them for other people. I would like to see you do that and then I won't be impressed.
So what? Russell did that, they were fucking splitting the votes and he still gave away the idol knowing that it was highly unlikely that he was going to stay because of that decision.
The numbers were 5 to 5, if they voted for her she would had been safe, because she wouldn't have to draw rocks because it gives her instant immunity after the second vote.
And I'd do that if that puts me further in the game.
It's just survivor, don't act like she risked her actual life them.
@IceYourPimpHand So do you actually think Russel should have won, because that's what it sounds like you're saying. While Russel is probably the best player ever at getting to the end, he does not play to win. Parvati absolutely deserved to win Heroes vs. Villians. Why would she even want to have anyone else draw rocks? If someone on her alliance goes home, she's screwed and it's her fault.
@Barchueetadonai All he said was that this move was good but not genius and I agree with that. I don´t think it matters if he thinks Russell should have won or not.
Fact is that this move safed the Villains and gave them the control but still it wasn´t a move that would deem somebody a genius strategist. As IceYourPimpHand said it was predictable who the Heroes would vote for so it was a nobrainer to play both Idols if she wanted to have a 100% chance of getting the numbers
@mohawk393939 Ah yes. Thank you for adding another reason why she's annoying as all considering she blew it twice. And uh...do people actually say "gaul" these days?
@SpanishFly120 She didn't blow it twice she played 3 very good games, made it to the end twice and was outfoxed once when she just didn't have the numbers, such is the way! You're absolutely right, how dare I use a word like that when it isn't used by people today, so can I get a list off you of what words I can and cannot use please as it would really help me out in my life!
@mohawk393939 Your attempt to get offensive and defensive at the same time as a way to try and goad me into an argument when the blunt fact is other people played better than her at least twice, isn't going to work. I'm not going to respond to further comments like that.
@SpanishFly120 Yes you're right because you are above all that ......but wait there's your first response where you critisised my vocabulary. Fact is only 1 person has won the game twice and that could quite easily have been Parvati as she played a brilliant game and the only game she could play given the scenario in Heroes vs Villains. How many times have you won survivor by the way?
@mohawk393939 I was not criticizing your vocabulary and just said I was surprised someone used the word. I'm sorry that you are as sensitive as you are and feel defensive. However, acting as you are doesn't particularly make yourself look bad. If you wish to continue speaking as you are, go ahead, but I'm done discussing in that tone.
@unclebreezybum I wouldn't call that wasting an idol, what she did was take a huge gamble on them not targetting either her or Russell and played the idols to their maximum use by gaining control of the game. What Russell did was fool Tyson but even with that done they still didn't have a majority they just bought time to convince Jerry and Coach to flip and get the majority. Both times the idols were well used though so it was a bit of a master class.
Iam still sad she didnt won. I like sandra but she wasnt best in HvV, jury just hated parvati from start a for no accual reason (viz. JTs letter) so they didnt vote for her just bcos of that....
i disagree. if u can create a situation and control it at will then that makes you a better player, and believe or not, but thats what rob does. of course sometimes you find yourself in situations in which you have to adapt and make the best of, which russell has a better record at than anybody else, but that ability rob has to establish himself as the leader and to ride that wave all the way to the top is priceless plus, i dont think thats why parv got second place.
whose plan was it to begin with? who made JT believe Russ actually was in trouble? Without Russ parv would have never gotten that second idol and parv would have never been able to think Russ was safe, that move would have been impossible. I will always go back to the fact that Russ was in a much tougher situation. what else could he do to save his alliance? nada. There was some luck, but luck is something you make. russ sure made his. nobody else not even parv or rob would have pulled that off.
@PhoenixMarco5 But Survivor's strategy and the art of survival in this game is not to create a whole situation as you see it. It's an ability to use your position in a given situation as best as you can. And Parvati did it here. I agree that if not other factors, like Russel's lie to Heroes for example, it wouldn't have happened, but he DID create this situation and Parvati has made the best move she could. It was probably the move that gave her second place.
well, the heroes could have voted for russ, so no she didnt cover all the bases, and since u gona mention parv in russ move, ill mention russ in parv's move who had the heroes minus rupert in his pocket tinkin that he was with them. something without which parv move would have never worked, ever. the simple fact that russ move was impressive, and the fact that it could have been a dumb move makes it even more gutsy and ingenious. the chance of him pulling that off was so low, and yet he did.
@PhoenixMarco5 That doesn't make it a better move just because it worked. Parvati's was going to work no matter what. The heroes have actually said that they didn't trust russell because he would talk badly about Parv but then he would go sleep next to her and follow her around. They told russell that they would vote for Sandra, but Parvati made sure she kept Jerri safe as well even though she had never been mentioned. Every villain was safe whereas w russ's move, Danielle was vulnerable.
@004DanielI JT said in interviews he believed Russ over sandra maybe they didn't trust him so much, but they weren't gonna vote for him which made parv move easier. parv was up against such a much easier opponent it takes away from her move imo. heck i would have done the same thing she did because it was so clear the heroes wouldn't vote for russ or parv (cuz of what amanda told her). there were only 2 choices left and she had 2 idols. nobody else could have done what russ did though
@004Daniel lol oh and btw, forgot. there was nothing Russ could have done to protect danielle, nothing at all whatsoever. It was 6 Vs 3 for god's sake he had only 1 idol. instead of 5 Vs 5 with parv having 2 idols.
@PhoenixMarco5 You mention the fact that Parvati couldn't have made this move without Russell working the heroes over, but don't forget that Parv is the reason Russell even had a chance to get close to the Heroes... They all thought she was leading an all-girls alliance which is why JT believed him. And just because Russels move was gutsy doesn't mean it was good. It was reckless and stupid, yet he got lucky. Parvati actually made sure her tribe was protected.
it isn't true at all that his alliance wanted to eliminate Russell. their first choice was parv. Rob: "settled on parv everyone? but we have to make sure they think it's russell" Sandra (while voting for russ) "this is just to scare you" their first choice was parv, and that spliting vote thing was just in case, it was a bulletproof plan. and had tyson stuck to it russ was gone 100%.
@PhoenixMarco5 Oh, please. Getting him to play the idol for her was just as much her saving herself as it was him saving her. She also threatened Tyson and that made him change his vote. CBS has the clip.
@004Daniel so i guess you would have given her your idol too knowing that if the other guys stuck to their plan you would be going home right? Sure, it was saving his life too, but it took huge balls. balls that 99% of people wouldn't have, and Tyson said "when russell came and told me he was gonna for parvati I thought it was an excellet opportunity to switch my vote" I saw that clip, it didn't accomplish much except Tyson thinking that parv was a huge threat which he already thought
@PhoenixMarco5 Tyson thought she was a threat, but his alliance was shifting towards eliminating russell, so when she threatened him... He said he decided to take control of the game. Sure it was ballsy, but if he didn't do it he would just go next time. Pavati giving up two idols for the villains was probably ballsier because it was at the point of the merge. She could have automatically been final four, but she had to make sure not a single hero got to the end.
@004Daniel parv had 2 idols russ had 1. in parv's case, it was 5 vs 5.russ was down 6 vs 3. the heroes plan was not that hard to figure out. they weren't gona vote for russ, they trusted him. danielle, had immunity. parv, they thought she had the idol (she gave up immunity), they werent gona vote for her. so there were really 2 choices. while it wasn't that hard to figure out rob's plan, his was 100% bulletproof had they all stuck to it idk how people can say parv's move was better. lov parv btw
@PhoenixMarco5 Because Parv's move was thought out. She dropped out of the challenge to assure Danielle was safe and the target on her would shift. Russell just did it to save Parv, like the whole game he was playing to help her. He gave her two idols and took her to the end. She saved herself with his move since she fooled russell into thinking he was running the show. His move was reckless and worked, but both Parv and russell persuaded tyson. The double idol plan was calculated and perfect.
@004Daniel parv's move wouldn't have worked against rob, who would have understood that whether or not russ is lying, if we get rid of him, we'll have the advantage, and he would have voted out russ and parv would not have seen it coming, that's kind of what he did to matt russ was up against a much tougher opponent and a much tougher plan and with just 1 idol and managed to make it parv's was thought out but the set up was a lot less impressive.
@PhoenixMarco5 Russell's was only impressive because it worked though. Parvati covered all of the bases, starting by giving Danielle immunity. By doing so she promted the Heroes to believe she had the idol and protected herself by doing that. If Russell's plan had not worked it would just be another JT move. He was able to accomplish it because Parvati also pushe Tyson over the edge since he didn't like her and she knew that one small move on her part and he would likely fall for it.
@PaulFrankHaven Me too...especially in an earlier confessional where she slams both Parvati and Russell, complete with a perfect imitation of Russell as a troll ♥♥
What irony. JT's "dumb" move was highly-thought-out, precise, and brilliant. Parvati's "brilliant" move helped her tribe for one night but shattered the trust she had with Russell------the guy who had carried her to that point. Oh, and as awesome and brilliant as JT's strategy was, who did he lose to here? Yes, Russell. What a player, unquestionably the best in "Survivor" history...........followed 20 yards later by "Boston" Rob and 30 yards later by Parvati.
@MrNozuchi I am pretty sure alligning with people who will have your back no matter what is a smart move both danielle and russell fought over her loyalty and thats why danielle went home
Not really that amazing, she had 2 idols, and 3 people that are in danger, the odds were on her side, Russell is somebody that pulls amazing miracles out of his ass without the odds.
@arboachg No, I struggle to read where I said that, It may had seemed like I suggested that, but that's not what I'm trying to say.
She had 2 idols, and 3 people that were in potential trouble, the fact that she gave it to the right person, wasn't as impressive as people think. I'm not the typical Russell fan, i see flaws that most Russell fans try to ignore, it's just I wouldn't call this tribal "Amazing".
@MrBen51309 Not really, Parvati had already planned it episodes before she just was not ready to execute it and Parvati is the one that secured Natalie and Alexis. Cirie would not have been able to do anything that season without Parvati, whereas Parvati could have done it all without her.
@MrBen51309 No Parvati planned that, that was the whole point of her getting Alexis and Natalie into her alliance with Amanda and Cirie pre merge. Parvati stated that she knew she couldn't beat Ozzy or James in the finals, so she replaced them with Alexis and Natalie behind their backs. She planned on blindsiding Ozzy way before Cirie got sent to Exile Island and came up with the same idea.
@RonaldM992000 Yeah, I don't really care what Russholes think. They've somehow deluded themselves into thinking that Hantz is a good player so I'm all set loving my girl Parvati and her million dollars that she got from, you know, actually winning the game.
@geekoftheweek27 Watch your language, and how a jury votes doesn't change facts. For the record, a jury acquitted Michael Jackson, you sniveling, uneducated, in-denial fool.
@RonaldM992000 My language? I said Russhole. Relax a little bit, and maybe chill out on insulting me if you're so upset by my doing it to you. Not sure what Michael Jackson has to do with the GAME of Survivor, so I won't be responding further. Have fun with your delusions though, Russhole <3
@dcshizz Sorry I didn't realize you were going by who had made it twice and won at least once. Because the five people to make it to the end twice are Rob, Parvati, Amanda, Russell, and Sandra. In my book that makes them all great players. Isn't it weird that in Heroes vs Villains the final three had all been to the end before.
@unclebreezybum not really because they had no idea who was being targeted and this move secured the villains final five and they ended up being final four
This episode was INCREDIBLY boring and I was yawning throughout..... and then this happened. "Oh look, Parvati's playing an idol; oh, she gave it to Sandra, how silly because the Heroes aren't voting for he--HOLY SHIT SHE JUST GAVE ANOTHER IDOL TO JERRI THE HEROES ARE SCREWED" [cue jaw drop]
@unclebreezybum Parvati tells tyson he is a target and will probably be blindsided not her so it is not much of a blindside and Parv knew /watch?v=M7azNsGVI80
@unclebreezybum Well, it isn't much of an opinion as it is a fact. tyson was just dumb, whereas no one could have guessed Parvati had two idols. Sandra deserved to be in the top three, but winning... Idk bout that
Hmmm Sad that JT Went , Tribal council once u enter is quite scary O_O JT Is a great player , trustable player anyway :) . Russell UNTRUSTABLE , If u are playing with him u gotta vote him out 1st if not he will take control OF voting out who to vote for .
heroes should've voted russell. this situation is comparable to when matt came back from redemption island at the merge. boston rob got rid of matt as a wildcard. if the heroes wanted russell to prove his loyalty or whatever, his "vote" would have been thrown towards a villain.
parvati wasted 1 idol... her move was just pure luck, parvati was just rolling the dice and praying to god it would work out in her favour, russell saved her ass so many times with an actual genius plan, parvati doesn't deserve to be called a queen, she's just a empty vote, way too overrated.
@chinglis That move was can be considered awesome... considering that both Heroes and Villains have the same number of people. Besides, she already has the insight that either Jerri or Sandra will be target and not her.
if he had not voted danielle out, he can choose to take danielle and parvati with him, leaving jerri behind with a better reason than LYING.
which is He's LOYAL to his "original alliance from day 1", and by justifying that everything he did, every blindside, every lie, even it's bad, was to honor his "alliance" , and people will feel much more acceptable because he's LOYAL then. (same speech as the 14th season winner)
too bad Russell 's too paranoid. ego blinded him as well.
@Freddusya Yeah thats true but, if parvati would have won the last immunity she probably would have chosen jerri and danielle over russell. So Russel made the right choice by getting rid of Danielle. Of course it cost him jury votes. But he did what he had to do to stay in the game^^
@JaCkmArc0 Parvati is someone who doesn´t care how good someone plays the game. She only cares about the people she likes in the end. Thats why she would have voted for jerri in the final and not for russell. She said that ro russell
@RonaldM992000 Please, Parvati played Russell like a fiddle. He was so loyal to her, he even sacrificed his own safety at one tribal council. She had him wrapped around her finger the entire game, and it was brilliant.
russel is the best strategic player of all times here in survivor, owned them all. boston rob is a small kid compare to russel. russel king of survivors!!
@budzki369 He is the king of Idols u meant. If that thing didnt exist, Russell would not have made it to the end. Boston Rob made it to the end by secretly dealing with pretty much everyone, not using any idol.
I never liked russell nd never will no matter what..he gets way too nasty, cocky nd personal with all the intimidation nd threats, i would never gve such a person my vote..no wonder the jury on both samoa nd HVV didnt gve him enough votes to win.boston rob was absolutely correct russell`s strategy can make him go till the end but cannot make him win
this was a typical PARVATI MOMENT lol but an awesome one..i didnt feel bad for JT AT ALL....he was acting really weird this season nd made the dumbest move by gvng his idol to russell..parvati OWNED him nd russell`s expressions were hahaha..parvati shld have won but she teamed up with the wrong person till the end..i mean i think the jury gave sandra the votes just cauze she wanted russell out since the very beginning lol..wish parv had changed her strategy of staying wid russ for the most part
@Jrob129 Multiple castaways have confirmed that she gave the idol to Jerri first.. I don't know what the deal with the "too" is... maybe the sound was taken out of context (Parvati's voice doesn't seem to match the scene, and her part is cut off before she says the "too").. and after looking at it a few times, that seems to be the case if you look closely enough.. her lips don't match her saying "Jerri that one is for you too".. take another look.
I love Parv..but I still think Russel blindsides was better. Russel took more risks, had Tyson stuck to the split vote, he would have gone home, period. Even if the Heroes had voted for Parvati, it would have been a tie, nobody knows who would have gone home. Russel was outnumbered 6 to 3. In this case, it was a 5 5 tie. Russel had one idol only, Parvati had two (one of which was earned by Russel btw). Russel was up against a master strategist and a 100% bulletproof plan, Parvati wasn't.
This was I think the best tribal council of all TIIIIME. Perfectly sums up the season, Villains > Heroes

PhoenixMarco5 2 months ago
@PhoenixMarco5 Tyson thought she was a threat, but his alliance was shifting towards eliminating russell, so when she threatened him... He said he decided to take control of the game. Sure it was ballsy, but if he didn't do it he would just go next time. Pavati giving up two idols for the villains was probably ballsier because it was at the point of the merge. She could have automatically been final four, but she had to make sure not a single hero got to the end.
004Daniel 2 months ago
@004Daniel parv had 2 idols russ had 1. in parv's case, it was 5 vs 5.russ was down 6 vs 3. the heroes plan was not that hard to figure out. they weren't gona vote for russ, they trusted him. danielle, had immunity. parv, they thought she had the idol (she gave up immunity), they werent gona vote for her. so there were really 2 choices. while it wasn't that hard to figure out rob's plan, his was 100% bulletproof had they all stuck to it idk how people can say parv's move was better. lov parv btw
PhoenixMarco5 2 months ago
@PhoenixMarco5 Because Parv's move was thought out. She dropped out of the challenge to assure Danielle was safe and the target on her would shift. Russell just did it to save Parv, like the whole game he was playing to help her. He gave her two idols and took her to the end. She saved herself with his move since she fooled russell into thinking he was running the show. His move was reckless and worked, but both Parv and russell persuaded tyson. The double idol plan was calculated and perfect.
004Daniel 2 months ago
@004Daniel parv's move wouldn't have worked against rob, who would have understood that whether or not russ is lying, if we get rid of him, we'll have the advantage, and he would have voted out russ and parv would not have seen it coming, that's kind of what he did to matt russ was up against a much tougher opponent and a much tougher plan and with just 1 idol and managed to make it parv's was thought out but the set up was a lot less impressive.
PhoenixMarco5 2 months ago
@PhoenixMarco5 Russell's was only impressive because it worked though. Parvati covered all of the bases, starting by giving Danielle immunity. By doing so she promted the Heroes to believe she had the idol and protected herself by doing that. If Russell's plan had not worked it would just be another JT move. He was able to accomplish it because Parvati also pushe Tyson over the edge since he didn't like her and she knew that one small move on her part and he would likely fall for it.

Epic moment. Aah...remember when getting voted out at tribal really meant your game was done? None of that redemption island crap.

IceYourPimpHand 4 months ago
@IceYourPimpHand Woah, woah, wait...a Russell fan giving another player shit for "only pulling something off cause they had an idol"?
Am I reading that right?
arboachg 4 months ago 4
@arboachg No, I struggle to read where I said that, It may had seemed like I suggested that, but that's not what I'm trying to say.
She had 2 idols, and 3 people that were in potential trouble, the fact that she gave it to the right person, wasn't as impressive as people think. I'm not the typical Russell fan, i see flaws that most Russell fans try to ignore, it's just I wouldn't call this tribal "Amazing".

@Recubs
Not really. Cirie was the mastermind behind Ozzy's blindside. Parvati just went along with it and broke her alliance with him.
MrBen51309 3 months ago
@MrBen51309 Not really, Parvati had already planned it episodes before she just was not ready to execute it and Parvati is the one that secured Natalie and Alexis. Cirie would not have been able to do anything that season without Parvati, whereas Parvati could have done it all without her.
004Daniel 3 months ago
@MrBen51309 No Parvati planned that, that was the whole point of her getting Alexis and Natalie into her alliance with Amanda and Cirie pre merge. Parvati stated that she knew she couldn't beat Ozzy or James in the finals, so she replaced them with Alexis and Natalie behind their backs. She planned on blindsiding Ozzy way before Cirie got sent to Exile Island and came up with the same idea.

@dcshizz And yet the only third place people on that list are Amanda and Russell. I think that should count for something.

heroes should've voted russell. this situation is comparable to when matt came back from redemption island at the merge. boston rob got rid of matt as a wildcard. if the heroes wanted russell to prove his loyalty or whatever, his "vote" would have been thrown towards a villain.

parvati wasted 1 idol... her move was just pure luck, parvati was just rolling the dice and praying to god it would work out in her favour, russell saved her ass so many times with an actual genius plan, parvati doesn't deserve to be called a queen, she's just a empty vote, way too overrated.
chinglis 10 months ago
@chinglis Clueless much?
ahachie 9 months ago
@chinglis That move was can be considered awesome... considering that both Heroes and Villains have the same number of people. Besides, she already has the insight that either Jerri or Sandra will be target and not her.
yamamotokun80 8 months ago
russell would have won, if he nvr freaks out, and voted danielle out. He woould have seen "loyal".
Freddusya 10 months ago
@Freddusya probably not. Because chances are that there would have been parvati, jerri and danielle in the final
JaCkmArc0 10 months ago
@JaCkmArc0
I don't think so. the girls want russell by their side, because they "know" he will not get any votes...
the problem with russell is he forgot that the jury will meet each other after being voted out.
russell tries to lie to jerri about how "evil" danielle was, and jerri believes him, because danielle said something wrong in the tribal council.
but he stupidly choose to take sandra with him, and leave jerri to clarify with danielle about what REALLY happen.
Freddusya 10 months ago
@JaCkmArc0
if he had not voted danielle out, he can choose to take danielle and parvati with him, leaving jerri behind with a better reason than LYING.
which is He's LOYAL to his "original alliance from day 1", and by justifying that everything he did, every blindside, every lie, even it's bad, was to honor his "alliance" , and people will feel much more acceptable because he's LOYAL then. (same speech as the 14th season winner)
too bad Russell 's too paranoid. ego blinded him as well.
Freddusya 10 months ago
@Freddusya Yeah thats true but, if parvati would have won the last immunity she probably would have chosen jerri and danielle over russell. So Russel made the right choice by getting rid of Danielle. Of course it cost him jury votes. But he did what he had to do to stay in the game^^
JaCkmArc0 10 months ago
@JaCkmArc0 Parvati is someone who doesn´t care how good someone plays the game. She only cares about the people she likes in the end. Thats why she would have voted for jerri in the final and not for russell. She said that ro russell
JaCkmArc0 10 months ago
@JaCkmArc0
that's if russell decided to bring jerri and danielle.....

Jrob129 1 year ago
@Jrob129 Multiple castaways have confirmed that she gave the idol to Jerri first.. I don't know what the deal with the "too" is... maybe the sound was taken out of context (Parvati's voice doesn't seem to match the scene, and her part is cut off before she says the "too").. and after looking at it a few times, that seems to be the case if you look closely enough.. her lips don't match her saying "Jerri that one is for you too".. take another look.

I was like 'OH MY GOSH, WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUU----"
FlyingChink 1 year ago
I love Parv..but I still think Russel blindsides was better. Russel took more risks, had Tyson stuck to the split vote, he would have gone home, period. Even if the Heroes had voted for Parvati, it would have been a tie, nobody knows who would have gone home. Russel was outnumbered 6 to 3. In this case, it was a 5 5 tie. Russel had one idol only, Parvati had two (one of which was earned by Russel btw). Russel was up against a master strategist and a 100% bulletproof plan, Parvati wasn't.
