  • can you remove the doors on a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited X?

  • Have you ever relocated the mirrors? If so how long does it take to change the mirror onto the windsheild frame. Would you recommend the relocation bracket or a mirror that attaches to the door hing?

  • @BruDogger21 relocation bracket

  • is it legal to have any car without doors on it?

  • @WCGwkf as long as you have a driver side mirror

  • I havnt had my wrangler long.its a 07 and its a pain in the butt to take them off, cause who ever had it before me didn't take care of it.what should I do to make it easier?

  • @MowhawKing you might be able to get black plastic or black painted metal hinges online.....mabie even colored ones....and just replace the hinges

  • hey i tried taking my doors off and i can lift them off me and my buddy tried but when we lifted the suspension went up while we lifted the door do you have any other tricks to help get it off?

  • Great video I have learned from it already Good work Wrangler owner from Saudi Arabia

  • I guess u dont need to check your mirrors in a jeep? Lol

  • @RetroFan1992 Most Jeep drivers just use the rear view mirror, look over their shoulders before changing lanes, and pay attention to the road.

  • @RetroFan1992 haha good point

  • Helpful! Thanks!

  • Good video. But man I can't lift that door off. It's stuck tight.

  • must be pretty easy stealing yourself a pair of doors

  • I'm having the same problem that others describe but want to make sure that I am doing it right.

The cap or bottom part of the bolts come off easily. Same for disconnecting the wiring harness and strap. But when I try to lift the door off of the pins it doesn't budge. Rocking it back and forth, banging up from the bottom, nothing makes any difference.

  • My passenger side door is seized, damn! I took them off all summer last year and like a moron I didn't grease/lubricate the bolts. My drive side comes off easy but the passenger side is toast. I need to soak the bolts in PB blaster tonight and see if I can work some magic.

  • I was trying do remove the bolt to one of my doors and the bold broke, have any suggestions on where to find replacement bolts?

  • great vid, thanks!!

  • First time removal can be a challange because the doors like to stick. After that, it's a piece of cake.

  • Thanks!

  • What year is this Wrangler?

  • @jeanunes5 Im pretty sure it was a 2009 Jeep. It has been a while since we put this video online.

  • Damn it! I just can't. It's like the doors were stuck. I can take the bolts out, but when it comes to lift the doors up vertically, we just can't separate them, as if they were glued!!! Any ideas, I already used a big amount of PB Blaster!

  • @damianplur what about WD40?

  • @damianplur did you use WD40?

  • @damianplur same here and i raped it with WD40 but its corotid in there

  • @damianplur Sledgehammer

  • He should have rolled the window down to protect it from breakage.

  • @kowz4u Yep, and to protect your tint "if it is tinted"

  • @MrRknapper I found a good way it remove the doors that have stuck hinges . with out using a hammer . Spray hing with P B blaster make sure that you cover paint and role window down . open and close door .this may take some time. and you may need to spray hing a few times. check to see if door is lose .when door does come off clean hing with a little P B . clean paint of any P B lub hing with marine grease. reinstall door . or not. but grease hing. lightly. this can take 45 min. OllllllO

  • pretty simple
