I agree with Metal-Archives labeling of Dimmu Borgir as Symphonic Extreme Metal. If you get them confused with death metal, I'd advise you to do a quick search here on youtube on stuff like "Decapitated", "Nile", "Demilich", "Bolt Thrower" and the like. Their sound is very, very, very different from that of Dimmu Borgir.

Yes i listen to all those bands, and love them quite much, i'm going to see nile again in march, but everyone i know, says thats dimmu is death, thats just all my friends opions and i's but i think thats true, i argee with the symphonic part but not extream, and why listen to "archives" you should learn to think for yourself

Dimmu Borgir is usually labeled as "Symphonic black metal". Some will argue that they aren't Black Metal, but I doubt they would if they weren't as popular as they are, so the elitists lose credibility.

In 1989 Galder (known then as Grusom) started Requiem, which evolved into Old Man's Child. They started out as death metal, but changed their sound to a combo of black and melodic metal (which is great imo). I don't know what you replied to, and can't make much sense of your comment, sorry :s

After I saw Elfen Lied, I got depressed...seriously.

And I never got over what Lucy did to poor Nana...

It was a very sad anime, full of confusion, romance, and overall - repentance. It will always be my favorite anime...however only lasting 14 episodes..which was gay lol
