I never said these were "the best." Besides, did you miss Nico, Carole King, and Claudine Longet? The men outnumber the women here not because I'm "prejudiced" against women but simply because 60s-70s pop was a field largely dominated by men. For every Laura Nyro or Evie Sands there were probably five Tim Buckleys or Randy Newmans.
Extraordinary collection. Best remembered are the Phil Ochs and the Tim Buckley albums. I recently learned that Van Dyke Parks, then a child, was in Grace Kelly's last movie.
The only album that could be more valuable than the Claudine Longet would be if OJ Simpson's recording of Sesame Street jingles.
good collection of stuff, i think i have them all. how about bruce palmer-the cycle is complete, dino valenti-dino valenti, alexander spence-oar, peter hammill-fool's mate, robert wyatt-the end of an ear, kevin ayers-joy of a toy, bob mosley-bob mosley, peter green-end of the game, jeremey spencer-jeremey spencer, just a few that came to mind.
Great to Love Chronicles - I used get home from school before my older brother (who by then had started working for a living) and play this record without him knowing (he did not like me playing his records) but I simply loved the title track (boy it's long!)......its a complete story. I used to play it whilst I made the fire (coal) before the rest of the family came home - the cover looks the same as the UK one as I remember it.
You have some very rare and nice albums their mate, I used own a considerate amount when I was younger back in the 80's. My first Album which I got hold of then was The Hollies Evolution album. It was a great album of theirs from 1967, of course now I have moved on to Cd's. Though I have lots of memories of the when I did collect vinyl, the good old days. You cannot beat them, thanx for showing us just some of your cool collection. Cheers!!!
I'm a teenager... and only at about... 5 lol but I do have the One Night Stand BBC "Rock Hour" lp. And my mom says that the orange version of Led Zeppelin III(as in the disc is orange)is very rare... I haven't found anything online about it. Happen to know?

Where are Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell?
TheNEWfilmfanatic99 1 year ago
Bob Dylan has a house in Malibu, California. I'm not sure where Joni Mitchell lives.

If you don't mind a bit of overproduction and pretentiousness, you'll like it. I enjoy it myself.

im 12 years old,
i only listen to records and you would love my record collection,
im planning on doing a videos on it ..
ill send it your way!
i dont know if you only do this in the videos,
but it looks like you have a bad habit of just laying records on top of eachother.

Oh and BTW it's his 2nd album - the 1st one was titled Bang Bang You're Terry Reid. Sorry forgot to mention that.

Terry had to say No to Jimmy Page when he was offered to join the future Led Zeppelin because of his existing contracts.
Interesting post, dude, cheers!
