  • Cute! I'm definitely makin this as a birthday gift!

  • i know its the point of diy that everyone can make it, but of me as a millner this really hurts me soul :D otherwise i think your chanel is great :)

  • <3 U! :-D

  • Very cozy. Love it!

  • Screw snuggies! This is way better.

  • @PhamtasticAlena RIGHT?!

  • can u do a new spring cleaning vid

  • I can't believe how cool this is.

  • This is sooo cute. Love it!

  • Hi meg I love your videos and think your amazing, I really like this project but when you do the blanket stitch i would recomend using light weight yarn like darning yarn or sock weight it just gives it a bit more stability plus its easier for those out there that hate sewing lol. cant wait to see what you come up with next xx

  • @janeway4eva Thanks so much! I totally would have but was hankering to make this and just used what I had, but you are totally right yarn or heavier thread is better. Meant to mention that, I can add an annotation. Thanks for watching! xo, Meg

  • Omg my daughter has a blanket half that size. This would be a great upcycle!

  • Meg, i love your channel. I have 2 questions for ya.

    1. Could you use a sewing machine instead of doing the blanket stitch? 2. Could you please do come videos on making Clothing or Accessories for us men out there?

    Thanks!

  • @LordGagaification Thank you so much! 1) Yes you can! You can serge the edges if you have a serger, or use a zig zag stitch to finish them with a regular sewing machine. 2) YES! I will work on some content for you dudes out there. Sorry to neglect you:)

    xo, Meg

  • so much more awesome compared to a snuggie :)

  • I've seen these in stores but could never figure out how to cut them! I love it with the belt. I'd use yarn or embroidery floss for the blanket stitching, though -- I'd probably want it to show up more. You make it look easy and great!

  • I did this in December with a big piece of black lace. Looks very fashionable with a simple leather-belt and a silver brooch!

  • That´s a mexican sarape!

  • Super cute! I love how the red one looks with the brown belt :)

  • I'm a Meg A. Cole too, <3 these projects! - Coincidence? I think not!!

  • @aena06 Woah. Samesies!

  • be warned it has to be a FELTED knit blanket, or else you run the risk of unraveling the whole thing:)

  • <3you and your projects Meg c:

  • Omg i love it!

  • Cute, easy and cozy =3 awesome!

  • You go girl .... great video..

  • Okey I am going to date myself here... You remember the wraps from the 80's don't you.... I do!

  • i was JUST thinking about fashionable alternatives to snuggies today!!

  • @melonkittyy Exactly. Same cozy feel, WAY cuter look. I love it.

  • I love that you hand stitch things so often in your tutorials!

  • I turned my cheap fleece blanket into a poncho by just cutting a little hole in the middle circle-skirt style (but much smaller, it stretches, too). Not as fashionable, but plenty warm.

I wear it under a jacket and just hope no one notices.

  • GENIUS!! I wanna try this now!

  • I LOVE IT! What a fantastic, versatile piece.
