Hello, Thank you for the question. If you do not pinch the individual's nose the air that you blow into the individuals mouth will exit through the nose and not make it into the lungs.
Thank you for your comment. I see where you are coming from. Although it does look like the chest compressions are not recoiling completely they are. I think the camera angle can make this seem otherwise. While giving chest compressions we are making sure the chest is compressed at least 2" in depth and that the chest is recoiling completely before the next chest compressions.
New guidelines also state compressions, airway, breathing - new - and i have not found one video yet that has the new correct guidelines in the new order? anybody seen any videos for CAB?
