  • I can not imagine anyone else hitting the notes that B.B. King hits while singing The thrill is gone!! He does it so well,Like I said when Im hearing it I close my eyes and when I do I can almost feel B.B. King sitting right next to me Bending those strings and singing away.

  • This Rick Darnell and Roy Hawkins song written in 1951 was first recorded by Hawkins in the same year,However wasn't really popularized until it's outbreak in late 1969 early 1970 when hit Blues music singer B.B. King recorded it for his album Completely well December 1969 When released in 1969 it became the biggest hit for B.B. King who in my opinion done one hell of a job with it.every time I hear it I have to close my eyes when I do I can feel B.B. King right next to me bending them strings

  • 1978 was a good year...........

  • What Up weelanj, I couldn't agree w/you more, classics such as this may be "old school," however its messages are so much more than "rap & hip hop" combined could even come close to, so as the old adage goes "you can't touch this!"

  • Damn B.B. Does anyone besides me notice his fucking volume control? How does he do that shit on command?

  • @rockinw401 I think it's called audio mixing

    But fucking talent anyway

  • @nassimakrour A reliable source tells me he just controls the volume like I thought he did. He just holds the frets softer and softer.

  • @rockinw401 Sorry i didn't unerstood the first commentary

that confirms that part of my commentary: FUCKING TALENT B.B.

  • Awesome track... first time I stood in a theatre watching him play this in 1984 I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and shivers race up and down my spine... a truly beautiful, haunting piece of music... this version captures a great atmosphere as well. Classic!
