The only reason most people cant fry an egg on a sidewalk withouth anything under it is because the heat comes from the sunlight which is above, and once the egg is covering the sidewalk, it starts to cool down under the egg, therefore, not cooking it. BUT what you did, probably not intentionally was put some foil underneath, reflecting the sun and therefore cooking the egg faster.
At the risk of making an idiot of myself thanks to my zero knowledge of physics isn't the thing that cooks the egg the radiated heat from the surface below? If that's true don't you want to be cracking that egg over a dark-coloured metal surface or a dark rock or something? Those things would absorb the sun's heat instead of reflecting it, which is what the tinfoil is doing. And therefore you'd have a better chance of frying the thing.
