None of our guns were up to class capacity. We had one Remington 870 with no choke/cylinder bore, one Benelli Nova unsure of choke, and one Mossberg 500 with no choke/cylinder bore.
All held 7 rounds or less in the tube as far as I know.
All ran reliably at that match. I can only speak for my gun (I'm the fat guy with the 870 Police) it is more than adequately accurate with slugs now that it has XS Sights Ghost Rings.
I have had two malfunctions with it over the few months I've been using it, both times a spent hull stuck in the chamber and had to tapped out with a cleaning rod. I attributed it to that certain type of ammo, I don't use that type of ammo any longer.
@azberd I've had similar issues with my 870. A buddy of mine who is a shotgun guru said the cause is using aluminum instead of brass rounds. The aluminum expands and does not contract and causes the stoppage.
Fuck... Now I have to create a set of Steam-Powered 3-gun implements...

Looks like fun! What pump shotgun are you guys running? 8 in the tube and interchangeable chokes?

@azberd Good info! Which one of those 3 pumps ran most reliably? Any slug accuracy issues?
