I love how Liz tweeted a link to a video with the word "fuck" in it. I wonder how Nickelodeon feels about that. Victoria also tweeted two screen caps from iTunes for "Freak the Freak Out," but you can also see the songs "Fuck You" and "Tonight (I'm Fucking You). I lol'd at that. @michellerz0812 Once you have clips to work with it isn't that hard. It's all about listening to cues in the music and knowing your material well enough to have a scene pop into your brain when you hear a line. Honestly, I didn't know what I was doing when I started out (you can check my early Harry Potter vids for proof), I just muddled my way through and in time I developed my own style. If you really want to make fanvideos, I say go for it and see what happens :)
