@vettepier it can be done, there is even a mod for nude ashley, for maingame and rescued one, i'm busy to make it happen as enemies tough, i'm working on a manuela hidalgo for maingame instead, it is also working properly (i found her as an ada's mod for mercenaries only, i'm adapting her as i play, there must be a way to change the jacket :3) but buying the bulletproof jacket changes her dress for leon's 3rd suit n.nU, and i need to get her voice, she is using jill's voice for the mod

I think the hatred stems from the added strain Ashley brings to the game. Not only are you concerned for your own safety and well-being. but you have to protect Ashley as well. Granted, she tries to help you along the way (i.e. giving Leon hints and helping move obstacles) but she is frustrating at the same time. You have to catch her even if the jump is middling, she is very weak, and when there are lots of enemies around, she is an easy target. Plus, her voice is quite annoying :P
