First of all, many religions believe in a Hell where the punishment is very severe. It has been mentioned repeatedly in Islam that only God knows who goes into Hell, so this assumption that non-Muslims go to Hell is FALSE.

Secondly, the ultimatum 'convert or die' was never given. Islam has repeatedly said "There is no compulsion in religion." Legit historians will tell you that historically, Muslim societies were EXTREMELY tolerant.

Women don't HAVE to get half the inheritance males do, this is only done because Islamically a man HAS TO support his family, whereas a woman can earn money, but she doesn't HAVE to give that money towards the family. Therefore, a man would need it more. However, if a female is in bad circumstances and really needs that money, that can be arranged. Thirdly, adultery is not allowed, and sex with slave-maidens is NOT permitted.

And lastly, verses can be taken out of ANY religious book and twisted and taken out of context to make the religion look bad.

Please don't be a hater. We need more tolerance in the world. We need to respect each other regardless of religion (because ultimately, all religions preach good), race, and gender.
