  • 2:13 Legolas may never run out of arrows, but he has just run out of fucks.

  • my fav. is "Be silent. Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I did not pass through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm. "

  • "I will draw you, Saruman, as poison is drawn from a wound."- one of my favorite quotes from the film

  • 0:42 Epic Gandalf wink

  • Gandalf: "I done took a few levels of badass, bitch."

  • 1:43

Great quote, certainly one of the best.

    "...witless worm" *warped sound effect*

Great scene, I wish I had that much of a presence!

  • ROHIRRIM!!! *EPIC HORN BLOWS*

  • Lol did any one notice When gandalf told grima to be silent and put his staff up,Thunder rolled and you see o shit look wash over grimas face , like you bastards i was talking shit to this wizard ,and he could have served my ass i told you to take the mofos staff,so hard to find good help these days lol

  • I don't know if Aragorn knew Gandalf was a Maia or not - he might have learned from the Elves in Rivendell, and he may not have.

But the wink Gandalf gave, is because certainly, Aragorn knew the Staff was Gandalf's primary weapon.

(Yes, amazingly, that beautiful sword is a mere secondary.)

  • One of my favorite scenes of the trilogy.

What I like, is the look Legolas gives Gandalf.

You see... the Elves know Gandalf is a Maia - a lesser god. Legolas was awed by seeing some of his power - honored in a sense. =^.^=

  • Gandalf performs exorsisom.

  • Omg if i would be gandalf i would do the fuckin same thing... Everyone watches me :D

  • I love how legolas doesn't try to stop eowyn, but aragorn does. :)

  • lol Gandalf. "Oh.... you would not part an old man from his walking stick."

  • Man, I love the way Gandalf says Theoden King. :)

  • @Lach1234 Even as a Maia, he has respect for the Children of Illuvitar. =^.^=

  • Gandalf's version of an exorcism lol

  • Thumbs up if it was too loud when you pressed play

  • "Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth! I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm!"

XD best line ever XD XD XD

  • I love how Gandalf tipped Aragorn a small wink when he was allowed to keep his staff!

  • Gandalf: "The courtesy of your Hall is somewhat lessened of late, Thèoden King!"

Oh, I could listen to that sentence for ever!

  • what the heck does gandalf say at 2:19-2:20?

  • @2weih4u "hearken to me"

  • 2:15 - 2:20 Gimli has his moments too.

  • 2:13 Legolas is such a badass.

  • I was just waiting for him to say "the power of Christ compels you"

  • "I shall draw you, Saruman, as poison is drawn from a wound."

Badassery in its most distilled form. "Yeah, you may have beaten me before, but *now*? Now you're nothing more than a *disease* to me."

  • That bruise on Saruman's face at 3:39 was the finishing touch, this was a great scene.

  • Herald of woe, indeed.

  • Sauramon got owned.

  • Audio was too quiet, thank god for volume controls.

  • That laugh is excellent.

  • Dear Grima Wormtongue,

You are a boob. Please go away.

    Sincerely, me

  • Why should I welcome you gandalf storm crow :P lol

  • would of been funnier if Gimli put a few more axes down.... like 10 of them or something lol

  • @manonmoon12 Seriously, it should have been like Denny Crane at airport security.

  • what does he say there when hes trying to get his attention? "hearten to me" ?

  • @Archebaldrin Harken to me

  • @AxReborn11 thanks bro i love that line i always use it to quote but i never really knew it for sure

  • @Archebaldrin Yea always in films when u hear a epic lined mumbled...your just like...er..Ill just make it up XD

  • @AxReborn11 lol yeah its awesome

  • @Archebaldrin "harken to me."

  • @thepathlesspath thanks!

  • Hey, can you upload the whole thing. What I mean is that when Gandalf enters and when king theolden comes back to being good and he goes after the the bad guy.

  • 1:19-1:29= Funniest line of the trilogy. Saw it baked and had a hard time keeping it together.

  • Comment removed

  • At the end of the video: Saruman - "I'm getting too old for this shit."

  • Saruman - "I'm getting too old for this shit."

  • The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, THÉODEN KING.

  • "Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words from a witless worm."

  • "Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words from a witless worm."

    Epic comeback!

  • i dont know if anyone noticed this but starting at 0:48 we see gandalf's back and him walking with his staff upright, and when we see the front it is no longer upright, it's held in a horizontal position, and then when the camera moves back to the front, it's held upright again. check it out 0:48-1:07, it stops after that maybe because they realized the mistake. ^_^

  • @ulqui4ever Yeah, it's just a continuity error, no biggy.

  • I love every scene in which Gandalf shows his "authoritah". LOL. And this is one of those scenes. It's right up there with the bridge of Khazad Dum and when he took charge in Minas Tirith. Sir Ian is flippin' brilliant. And I like that little wink he does. He does it in the X-Men movies too.

  • love it love it love it love it!

    LOVE GANDALF! =D

  • right at the start, love gandalfs little ah, here we go

  • that little wink gandalf does when he's allowed to keep his staff ;) you just know he's gonna kick ass!

  • Excellent scene, but the volume's really low.

  • why is the volume so low? :(

  • @Dyz7

    Absolute true!

The best scene is when he is getting better and grabs his sword.

  • He's not supposed to be possessed in the book (Theoden), but this scene is probably the most intense the entire trilogy!

  • @latinodude85 Yeah, he made changes - he said he would and that's what you're meant to do anyway. You can't make a direct translation from one medium to another, it just wouldn't make sense to.

  • my mother and I go through this everyday she tells me I got to wash the dishes....her broom will bring the Saruman out of u..lol

  • The wizard's staff was the most powerful weapon they had.

  • @bookkeeper57 yeah lol and it definately did it's job

  • @bookkeeper57 Besides theyr Words^^

  • You cut off the best part of the scene, when he takes his sword.

  • It's actually referred to as "The House of Meduseld" or "The Golden Hall"

  • now that's how you proform an exorcism....

  • i love this scene

  • i only dislike those subtitles

  • my favorite part has to be that "ahh" that Gandalf lets out at the top of the stairs with that shit eating grin :)...

  • Gandalf: I release you...from this spell.

Possessed Theoden: (Mocking laughter) You have no power here, Gandalf the Grey! (Laughs then cries out)

(Gandalf throws off his cloak, revealing his white robe)

G-the White: I will draw you Saruman as poison is drawn from a wound! (Raises his staff and throws Theoden back in his throne)

Theoden: (In Saurman's voice) If I go...Theoden dies!

Gandalf: You did not kill me, and you will not kill him!

    Theoden: Rohan is mine!

    Gandalf: Begone!

    Awesome.

  • "Head-shot BIATCH!! You got PWNed!!!"

  • LOVE THIS SCENE

  • I always loved this part, one of my favorite moments in the series.

I remember when I first saw this in theaters, being put off by how old and shriveled Theoden looked at first. He's old, but he can still fight. Then, at the end of this part when he's restored to normal , I remember smiling and thinking to myself, "Yeah, THAT'S Theoden! THAT'S what he's supposed to be like!"

  • theoden: "You have no power here, gandalf the grey"

gandalf: *throws back cloak, "Bitch, I leveled up!"

  • they forgot to take the most powerful weapon of all - gandalfs staff

  • @hfdpayner powerfull pfff my nose

  • 2:13

  • best scene ever

  • Your staff..

  • 0:42 ;D

  • tsk ... cheeky worm tounge. good actor though. well, above average.

  • But well within gandalfs ability to swat :). It is only a matter of time :). As you well know.

  • If you watch as Gandalf walks in at 1:00, you can see his staff down at his side but when the camera is behind him they show the staff straight up......I always catch these things.

  • What happen to your tongue???

  • Notice how at 0:42 Gandalf winks to Aragorn ;)

  • One of the best scenes of Gandalf! Thx!

  • You can see a movie flaw in this scene. Pay attention to Gandalf's staff. =D

  • Saruman is better with Gandalf...He is BEST !!!

  • What fo you mean with " Saruman is better with Gandalf"? ?????

  • i love this scene. thanks

  • Thank God you upload this! We've been looking for this for weeks!

  • just lovely and beautiful
