I have an issue with all of this. I don't think this was Peterson at work. Let me first say I know some of the Guys of Lidar and they are great guys. They would not make this up. However, Peterson is universally disliked as his 'tests' are complete lies & he will do anything to make a buck. And that is why I don't think it was him. He cares about 1 thing..your money. I can't see him jeopardizing that nor risking the backlash that would follow this. How would doing this help him financially?

@ZNickey Furthermore, GOL is an easy and likely target. Why? Because they are really the only large enthusiast base of testers out their. They are not governed by politics nor controlled by detector sales and therefore they can say the true results that their findings indicate. This can be brutal as they have exposed a lot of products to be the crap that they are, and so there are more than just a few people with motives. This would include both manufacturers and retailers, so it is a long list.

Motive means nothing when talking intent...I know for a fact it wasn't staged that Craig peterson later admited he had also stashed other Radar antennas around the test area...I would have found but at that point they were using my V1 for testing so it wasn't in the laser test vehicle...CP isn't that smart he pulled up in a fake cop car dressed as a fake cop and was told by one of the actual cop present at the test to present a badge or you will be arrested.

I am just speaking in a legal matter....I have the video of Craig peterson pulling up in a "Emergency Response". Legally I can not release it. I don't care if you believe it or not but I know for a fact that Craig Petersen tried to sabotaged the GOL event. I have heard the phone calls between petersen and the person who got him to admit he had more radar guns planted....I saw Petersen himself misuse a GM test vehicle he was lent...Funny he no longer road tests GM vehicles after that misuse.

It took 30minutes to find this radar gun...There were supposidly 2 others hidden else where but no ones detector detected the others. They ented up using the V1 to start and with the help of the worst detector they had on hand to find it (easier to narrow where the signal is coming from if the detector isn't extreme sensitive like top level detectors

Wrong. I've had my V1 for nearly two years, and it's never let me down. It has the "all bogey" mode, or the mode that only alerts on confirmed radar sources. I use the one in the middle, which alerts at full blast for confirmed radar, and at a half-volume for possible radar. It lets me make my own judgment calls. The counters and direction arrows help in speed trap situations. The audio is great - Ka sounds more angry and urgent than K, since it's the biggest threat. I love my V1!

While you may be able to argue which one will detect a signal first, the V1 still dominates. What other radar detector will inform you of how many sources of radar it is detecting and be able to ACCURATELY tell which direction it is coming from? None.....

Not to mention the V1 is still the ONLY completely undetectable radar detector. Try to use any other detector in Virginia and you will get caught.
