Crabs will eat anything as long as they

can smell their food. I happen to have

two hermit crabs that eat by smell.

If the food smells strong enough

they will eat it from chicken to fruit.

If they can eat fish they will eat chicken.

Mine just loves bologna when I feed it

to them or papaya fruit.
