I am the music director at an Independent Christian Church in Missouri, just a small little congregation, but we still do these old songs and we keep the beat if you know what i mean, we don't shout either, but we do get with the program.

Your right about that!! Amazing singing, and piano playing.. Its just so different than my church. Were pentecostals, so there is always so much shouting we cant ever hear the music. lol

it's hard to find good old time hymns like we sing them at my church in clayton,alabama. i'm glad someone else loves the old time hymns also.
