@Kuewt lol its an awesome game, especially for a free one. AA3 however is sucky, it laggs, has performance issues and lots of bugs. The actual gameplay when it works, is pretty damn good.

And people who say it doesnt lagg or has any performance issues are either extremely lucky or complete and utterly noobs in the fps genre.

You can't compare it dude. Half life is an offline sci fi game and it is VERY VERY good. The story is great and the gameplay even better.

AA is a free online shooter without a story. And it's great at that.

+ AA is realistic and HL is not.

So it;s comparing apples with pears... There both great !!

The AA Deploy client is such a bad idea.

I dont see why they cant just have the files hosted on download sites like they did before.

At Filefront I can get 500kb/s any day...

With the AA Deploy I got 40kb/s tops.

Search around, there are instructions on how to download an older version of the game and update using 3 pateches or so.

It isn't AA 2.8 because when the US army updates so does the game. In here they were desert camo and woodland camo at some points while in the later versions of the game they wear BDU's With MARPAT.

Let me clear it to you, you want a real military sim, you get ArmA (Armed Assault)not AA.

AA is only a idea of what fights are, its a tactical shooter = some realism, yet not a sim : still built for fun.

However, this game surprisingly forces you to play with Army tactics to be good, taking cover has never had more sense. tactical moving too

and its F******* FREE!!!(NOTICE: HARD TO LEARN, but if you persist...you have so much fun!
