Men oj så konstruktiv man kan va då i sin kritik. Arn 2 floppade på bio för att ettan avskräckte. Om den måtte ljumma recensioner på hemmaplan så har den har sågats något fruktansvärt utomlands. En kass film på alla möjliga tänkbara aspekter men framförallt så lider den av överspelande usla skådespelarinsatser.

Just watched this film, wasn't to impressed by the first movie, but had to see how it ended, and im glad i did. Much better than the first one.

Funny when Harald comes along in the end with some of his buddies to help out the swedes. Looked like they just came from a party or something, with some silly outfits. iLold :-)

At the battle of Lena however there was a couble of Danish nobles from the Hvide family with their followers figthing on the sverker side, but that was due to the fact that they where related to the Sverker king, since they where his brothers in law i think.

That venture was strictly private, atleast no contemporary sources say otherwise.

The Arn movies does take quite alot historical liberties, but stillthey are pretty entertaining.

Sejr was figthing in balticum at the time.

And acouble of months later the victorious Swedish king was married to a Danish princess.

Jeg ved ikke hvad Jan ved, men generelt er der en del uhistoriske detaljer i hans bøger om Arn, hvilket han jo har lov til som forfatter til skønlitteratur. Et eksempel er at han i filmen lader kongeriget Jerusalem hænge tempelriddere. De gejstlige ridderordner på den tid var totalt suveræne og stod kun under paven. Stormesteren havde rang af fyrste og kardinal. Og hvis nogle tempelriddere begik en forbrydelse blev det ordnet internt i ordenen.
