@countbloodula Let's see.. there was Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Kerry Von Erich, Ron Garvin, Rick Steamboat, Sting, and Vader. I hope that's good enough for you.
Ric flair is a freaking legend but the sad thing is he still thinks he can "pull the rats! in 2011 in TNA but he needs to look in the mirror as he is one very old looking individual! ..According to a few "unnamed" sources this guy is a freaking joke in that he still thinks he can goto any bar and pull some "hot 20 something blonde bimbo"....Time waits for no man!....Please retire Ric as you are becoming a joke in TNA!
@Jacksiin1 he can pull em. Tehre will always be ring rats. But he may have to pay for it a bit more, but not by much. But there will always be ring rats. And his wife is like 30 anyway.
Can anyone tell me how things worked during this time ? Like today you have WWE and TNA as companies and during the 90's WWF, WCW and ECW. But from what I've seen from footage around this time there seemed to be alot of different wrestling promotions. My question is, did wrestlers wrestle in different companies like say for example John Cena going back and forth between WWE and TNA. Is that how it worked back then or what ? Because Im confused as to how the wrestling scene was back then.
@ThaOneChrisJONES The way it worked was that the entire continent was divided up into 'territories', each which promoted shows in their area, and tended to garner their own syndicated television deals on local markets. Until Verne Gagne split his Minnesota based territory away, and Vince McMahon Sr. pulled his New York based one out, all of the territories (or really, nearly all-there were 'outlaw' promotions from time to time) recognized one governing NWA World title.
@ThaOneChrisJONES Later on, Bill Watts and his Mid-South territory tried to establish a more national identity, and called themselves Universal Wrestling Federation, but still tended to recognize the NWA World Title. As Jim Crockett Promotions expanded its control from Mid-Atlantic into Georgia, and Florida, they eventually bought out UWF, trying to go national. At this point the Von Erichs split from the NWA, and established their own World title, all trying to compete w/ the WWF.
@ThaOneChrisJONES Eventually, the Crocketts (who by now monopolized the trademarks of the NWA titles) spent too much money trying to compete with the WWF in its national expansion, and sold to Turner, eventually becoming WCW. Verne Gagne's AWA tried various co-operative promotional work, first with the Crocketts, then w/ the Von Erichs' World Class and Jerry Jarrett's Memphis based CWA. None panned out, and AWA eventually died off. World Class merged with CWA to form USWA, but died out later.
@ThaOneChrisJONES well Julius, we all laugh at cocksucking hoodie wearing wanna-be nigger faggots like you, then we click on your name and see you play with Pokemon toys...then we laugh like fucking hell as you cry like a fucking homo...Pokemon toys...hahahahahaha....lol
I miss the 80's great time for wrestling, WCCW, UWF, Memphis, AWA, NWA. and Yes even WWF, before Vince JR changed it......I've seen the 70's WWF when Vince's Dad ran it...it was a lot better then. I watched wrestling growing up and Really got into it in 1983...I'm lucky enough to have tapes of the golden age of wrestling from 1930's , 40's, 50's 60's and 70's. lot of good memories in my wrestling collection.
Power Pro Wrestling--The Universal Wrestling Federation! Now, this is Professional Wrestlng. Jim Ross doing play by play, the Nature Boy cutting a promo. It didn't get any better than this. Whoooooooooooooo!
@MetsThunder , Missy today looks terrible.. mother nature has not been kind to her. she sure as hell didn't retain that youthfull look some people still have as they get older. she looks better in this promo then she does right now... check out her web site she has updated pictures of her.
@Astraldragon1 I'd rather not! I'd rather have the wet dream memories of my youth vs nightmares. I saw her around two years ago and I almost threw up!
I have seen Missy Hyatt nude
