I know this won't sound like a voice of reason to some here on youtube, but it seems to me that Sophie, while not as groundbreaking as her dad (few artists are), is talented and just wants to earn a living. Art is practically the Crumb family business. The problem that she and her critics have is that there is an expectation for her to be like her dad. Her art can't be as disturbing as Roberts because it seems to me that he was too good of a parent in order for her to create art like his.
I read her "book." It's nothing fascinating or innavative, and why would I care about her life? The only reason the publisher invested in the book's printing is because she's R. Crumb's daughter.

Sophie is living off her dad just as Aline lives off Robert.

I wonder if Robert has heard that Don Donahue has passed away last week?
