wow! how in the world did i miss this one.another great original. we must live in parallel universes cause with you it was old sam & with me it was old charlie van horn. he'd be spitting that dam tabacco juice halfway across the room to his old slop bucket. every saturday nite he'd kill a chicken and soak the feathers overnight & pluck it next mornin for that sundays dinner. but man did he ever love his chew. he lived into his mid 80's they lived hard lives back then.thanks for jaring my memory.
